Zeke’s view

I was just tidying up while the others were asleep. I heard the doorbell go. I looked at the time and saw it was 11:37. As I went to answer the door, I heard another knock. Whoever was knocking seemed quite desperate. Once I opened the door and saw it was Jared, I started to relax my shoulders a bit.
“It's about Brookelyn” that's when my body tensed up again. We never use her full name unless it's serious.
“Come in”
We sat down at the table and Jared explained that Brookelyn went out and was supposed to be home at 10 but when he pulled up to the driveway he saw her car wasn't there and got worried.
“We have to go find her,” I shouted.
“Ill quickly wake up the others and keep them up to date with what's going on”
“I'm going to check the treehouse”
“Ok. I’ll check the park. Message if anything.”
I grabbed what I needed and hopped into my car and started to drive off. Once I reached my destination I messaged the others.

~group chat~

Zeke: Hey guys, I'm at the treehouse. Where are you guys?
Ben: I'm on my way with Cal and Olive.
Michaela: I'm going to the station to file a missing report and check there.
Jared: I am going to check the park. Don't worry guys we will find her
Cal: We have to
Olive: yeah that's my best friend we are talking about
Zeke: we will find her don't worry

Brookelyn’s view

I woke up with a pounding headache. I couldn't see anything. All I saw was black. I couldn't move my arms either.
“Help!”
“Someone help!”
After a while of screaming and nobody coming I stopped it was no use nobody was gonna hear me, instead i tried to break out myself.
Shouting.
Screaming.
Fighting.
I don't know what was happening in the other room and I don't wanna know.
—-----------------------------------------------------------
Cal’s view
Where could she have gone? I hope she’s ok? I was petrified, nobody knows where she was and everyone kept telling me that we were gonna find her. What if we can't find her? I could lose her forever. I don't wanna lose her. I need her.
I started shaking. I was so scared I couldn't think of anything positive. I could only think about what could go wrong.

Ben’s view

“Cal? Buddy you good?” I saw him shaking. I knew he wasn't ok, he was scared.
“Come here” I said , pulling him to a hug. He started tearing up.
“What if we can't find her? I can't live without her dad,” he said. I thought I was gonna cry, I knew he loved her but I didn't know he loved her that much. I didn't know what to say. All I knew was that he needed me and I was gonna be there for him.
“ Just wait here quickly,” I said and he nodded.
I called Michaela and told her that I need to take Cal home. She said it was ok and it was a good idea to take him home.
“ Come on Cal let's go home”
“ What about brooke?”
“ there gonna stay and look for her while we go home”
“ ok…” he replied.
They got in the car and I looked over to Cal who was in his own world.

Cal’s view

Once we got in the car, I couldn't stop thinking about her. I felt like the walls were caving in on me and it was my fault for not protecting her.
“ Think about all the good memories with her,” my dad said. I just nodded. I couldn't speak. I was struggling to breath and I felt like I was dying. The car came to a stop.
“ Cal breathe and close your eyes. Breath with me.” and that's what I did.
“ remember the time we went to the beach with Brookelyn and she splashed you with water then you pushed her in but when she was falling in she dragged you down with her.” he said which made me laugh remember that day like it was yesterday.
“ Remember the time we made you cupcakes and you thought we poisoned them,” I said laughing.
“ no cause you guys were acting so suspicious”
“ we wanted to surprise you” which causes me to go into a fit of laughter.
I miss her so much.

Brooklyn’s view

“Quick get her out of her”
I felt them untying my hands and feet. I didn't know what was going on. I felt very drowsy.
“ Quick, we need to get her out before they come back.” I knew that voice but I didn't have enough energy to identify who it was.
Then it went black again.
