As the conversation between Tia and Evan drew to a close, a soft patter of raindrops began to tap against the windows. The sound gradually intensified, morphing into a steady rhythm as the rainstorm enveloped the city.
Tia glanced at the window, her eyes widening with delight. "Looks like it's raining pretty hard," she said, her voice carrying a note of excitement.
Evan followed her gaze and smiled. "Yeah, it’s really coming down out there. What do you usually do when it rains?"
A smile formed at Tia'slips "I like to dance in the rain. I'veloved rain since childhood."
Evan's eyes sparkled with a playful idea. "Well, How about we do that?"
Tia's face lit up with enthusiasm. "That sounds like a lot of fun! It’s like a mini celebration of nature’s surprise."
Evan grinned, clearly pleased with her reaction. "Great! Let’s do it. I don’t think I’ve ever danced in the rain before. It’ll be a new experience."
"But wait, i don'thave an extra pair of clothes..."Evan said with a sad tone.
"Well i have the perfectsurprisefor you then." Tia said with a sweet smile.
Tia quickly changed into a comfortable outfit, leaving her shoes behind and rolling up her sleeves. Evan did the same, setting aside his jacket and shoes. They both headed to the balcony, where the rain was falling in sheets.
The cool, fresh scent of rain filled the air as Tia and Evan stepped out onto the balcony. The rain created a soothing symphony of sounds, and the world seemed to blur into a watercolor of grays and blues.
Tia took a deep breath, closing her eyes for a moment. She spread her arms wide, letting the rain drench her face and hair. When she opened her eyes, she saw Evan mirroring her, a wide grin on his face as he embraced the rain.
"Ready to dance?" Tia asked, her voice filled with anticipation.
Evan chuckled and nodded. "Lead the way!"
As they danced, tia occasionally reached out to evan, her hands finding his. Despite her usual aversion to physical touch, she found herself enjoying the moment, her discomfort fading in the sheer joy of the dance.
With that, they started to sway to the rhythm of the rain, their movements fluid and carefree. She twirled and spun, the droplets creating a shimmering halo around her. Evan watched for a moment, clearly entranced by the sight.
Taking a deep breath, Evan joined in, matching her movements with a bit of his own flair. He had a natural rhythm and soon found himself enjoying the spontaneous dance, laughing and spinning alongside Tia. The rain splashed around them, creating a playful, almost magical atmosphere.
The two of them danced and laughed, their movements synchronized in joyful abandon. The world outside seemed to disappear, leaving only the two of them and the rain. It was a moment of pure, unfiltered happiness, free from the complexities and concerns that had clouded their earlier conversation.
"Not bad for a first-timer, huh?" Evan shouted over the sound of the rain, his voice filled with exhilaration.
Tia laughed, nodding in agreement. "You’re doing great! Just remember, it’s all about letting go and having fun."
The rain continued to pour, creating a rhythmic backdrop to their dance. Eventually, they slowed down, their movements becoming more relaxed as they enjoyed the soothing rain. Out of breath but happy, they finally stopped, leaning against the balcony railing and catching their breath.
Evan looked at Tia with a smile, his eyes twinkling with a mix of amusement and affection. "That was amazing. Thanks for getting me out here. I never thought I’d enjoy dancing in the rain so much."
Tia grinned, her cheeks flushed from the cold and the exercise. "I’m glad you had fun. It’s one of my favorite things to do on a rainy day. It’s like a mini celebration of the weather."
They both stood there for a few more moments, enjoying the rain and the peaceful silence that followed their dance. The storm showed no sign of letting up, and they were content to stay outside for a while longer, simply enjoying each other’s company.
