Paige idly sat on the edge of the bed, watching Five and Vanya engage in a deep conversation about family matters. As she observed them, she absently swung her legs back and forth. A few stray strands of hair fell softly over her face, partially obstructing her view. The intricate braid she had meticulously styled earlier was starting to unravel, causing more silky locks of hair to cascade over the side of her face.
Suddenly, the door shut, and Paige glanced up to see Five pursing his lips. Before she could react, a man unexpectedly leapt out of the wardrobe, causing Paige's eyes to widen in surprise. The man landed with a big smile on his face, startling both Paige and Five,
"I thought I told you to put something professional on," Five says as the man grins, "this is my nicest outfit"
"We'll raid the old man's closet," Five mumbles as he runs his hand along the side of the wall with his finger before leaving. Paige and Klaus follow closely, like little puppies that have just been born. As they arrive in the old man's bedroom, Paige can't help but gaze around the room in awe. It was unlike anything she had ever seen before, especially as she was growing up, even before she joined the commission,
"Come on, Gigi," Five says, his voice tinged with impatience as he strides out of the room. Paige follows him, softly closing the door to afford the man inside some privacy. Anxious lines crease her forehead as she joins Five by the bannister, where he leans with his arms crossed and a deep frown etched on his face... Paige turns her gaze to him, looking intently at his features. The boy notices her stare and turns to meet her eyes, causing their gazes to lock. Paige finds herself drawn into his captivating amber-green eyes as he meets her own blue eyes with an intense, captivating stare.
"Just Kiss already," Klaus says making Paige and Five smirks at him "Oh we have," Paige says as Klaus looks at her neck with a nod, Paige brushes some of her hair from her face as she thins her lips again five does the same as he adjusts his blazer,
"Do I get paid?" Klaus asked making five mumble curses, "after the job is done" Paige looked at Klaus with a small smile noticing the change of clothes,
"Okay, but to be clear, on the finer details" Klaus smiled "I just gotta go into this place"
And pretend to be your two dear old dads?" He asked making Paige nod her head following she looked at five who were thinking about something, "Yeah, something like that"
