CHAPTER | 008
"WHY the fuck did i dream of jungkook and i having sex? damn that stupid fever sure did mess up my brain" you groan as you woke up. "it felt so real too" you said to yourself as you got up but your legs started shaking and you dropped onto the ground. "o-okay...that's not normal" you said as you tried to get back up. "(y/n)! you're awake!" your eyes widened when you saw your brother-in-law and your sister. "what are you doing here?" you asked. "you're at the hospital. you got pulled out of the show" your sister said. "how?" you asked. "i had jihoon pull you out even though the rest of the producers were against it. jihoon told him that your fever was getting worse so they had no choice but to remove you" your sister said.
"great but why do i feel so sore down there?" you asked. "down there? should i call the doctor?" jihoon asked. "never mind. it's most likely from the fever. now that i'm out of that show, i can finally head back home" you smile brightly. "once you get better, you will be able to head back. jihoon made sure to inform the fans to respect your life. if anyone tries to hurt you, you tell me" your sister said and you nod. "i'm so happy to have you back" she hugs you. "me too" you replied. then your sister pulls away from the hug and notices something on your neck. "what's that?" she pointed at your neck. "it looks like a hickey" jihoon said which made you and your sister glare at him. "it's probably just a bruise. you know how easily i can get bruises and not know how. i must have hurt myself when i was sick" you replied.
"by the way, this was sent to you" jihoon points at the basket of your favorite flowers. "by who" you asked. "it's not from a fan so don't worry. they don't know which hospital you are staying but this was sent by one of the judges from the show. jeon jungkook" jihoon said which made your eyes widen. "what's wrong?" your sister asked. "i-it's nothing" you tried to shrug it off. "it's not nothing if you're acting like this. did he do something to you?" she asked. "no but his behavior towards me is so weird. he clearly likes me more than the other trainees. i'm sure you have noticed it too" you look at jihoon and he nods. "i'm still shock that he took you out to eat at a fancy restaurant" jihoon said. "i didn't want him to. i wanted to go out with my team but he didn't want that" you added. "but isn't he your bias from BTS?" your sister asked. "yeah but meeting him change my perspective on him" you replied.
"now that the show is over for you, you can go back to your normal life" your sister said with a smile. "actually..." all eyes went towards your brother-in-law. "my coworkers are asking for your information because many companies are trying to recruit you. even the big 4" jihoon said which made your eyes along with your sister's to widened. "you saying JYP, SM YG & HYBE are trying to get her?" she asked and he nodded. "(y/n) amazed everyone by her first performance. heck when ENHYPEN saw your cover" jihoon said. "did you give it to them?" you asked. "of course not. i promised you that after this was over, i would give you your life back and pay you. here's the money" he hands you a check. "but you really do have the talent to be an idol" jihoon added. "i know but it's not what i want" you take the check.
you saw a picture of yourself on the screen as you were eating breakfast. ever since you left the hospital, there were many articles about you. you were told by jihoon and your sister to stay low. you were the popular trainee after all, so many people will recognize you. you can't wait to head back home to your room and after about this thing. it's not likely that you will be recognized back in the states. well that's what you're hoping for. you decided to change the channel and accidentally started to watch the survivor show you were on. you saw nabi, mei, dara and min-sun walk up to the stage and position themselves. soon the music started playing and you realized the song was LOVE DIVE by IVE. you watch their performance clearly. "it's a good song but it doesn't fit mei or nabi well. why did they chose this song" you asked yourself.
once their performance was over, the camera pointed at the judges. "to be honest, i think you guys could have done better. there were parts were you all were out of sync" aiki said. "i agree. your vocals weren't as stable as your previous performances" wendy added. "i agree with both of them. this song didn't set you four well" jungkook commented. if you were in their team, you would have suggested lovesick girls by BLACKPINK as that song fits perfectly for all four members. you turn off the tv and pulled out your phone. you go on your social media account and see lots of edits of you during your time on the show. you landed on a video that was title: IS (Y/N) AND JUNGKOOK DATING?!? you watch the video, hearing their reasons why they think the two of you are dating. you looked at the comments of the video and saw many people agreeing with the creator. you turn off your phone and stared at the ceiling.
"that god i will be leaving next week. i hope this fame ends"
