CHAPTER | 010
"WELCOME to the studio. since you are my first trainee, you get this room to yourself. i have hired the best choreographer for you and i too will be involve with the choreography" the idol said as the two of you walk into the dance studio. "i have your schedule ready" jungkook hands you a paper. your eyes widened when you saw how busy you're going to be. "i know you're a fast learner so you'll do just fine" he smiles. "are you planning on getting more trainees?" you asked. "i am but i haven't found any that are close as talented as you are. i was thinking of debuting you as a solo artist. it's been a while since a solo artist has debuted. it's been mostly groups. my team and i have talked about it and agreed that you will be fine as a solo artist" jungkook said.
"i see. i start the schedule tomorrow, right?" you asked and he nods. "yes. your teachers will be here tomorrow so be on time. you're done with unpacking, right?" he asked. "yes. by the way, why is the dorm so big if it's just me that is going to live there?" you asked. shivers went down your spine when he placed his hands on your shoulders. "because you're my star. you deserve the best" jungkook said, making you feel a bit unease. "o-okay..." you replied as you pulled yourself back. "well i'm sure you're now busy with running a whole company. i will be fine alone" you said, trying to get him to leave you alone but it seem like it didn't work. "i'm not since i hired people to help me run this company. let's go shopping. i did drag you here quickly. i bet you didn't pack a lot of clothes. i will be paying for them so don't worry. get whatever you need" he smiles. "no. i'll be just fine with my clothes" you said. "(y/n)..." you started to get uncomfortable from the way he said your name. "remember i said that you're my star? as my star, you have to be perfect so let me buy you things" his brown eyes stared deeply into your eyes. "okay" you replied. "great! let's go. make sure to have your mask on. you're popular now" he grabs your hand.
nabi cries onto her pillows again. her family brought up jungkook. they blamed her for not being able to keep him by her side. he broke up with her right after she was announced to be one of the members of the new group and ever since that day, she's been crying. she thought he loved her as much as she loved him but she was wrong. she pulls out her phone and scrolls through insta until she spotted a picture of her ex with a girl. her heart broke seeing how easy he moved on. she looks through her comments and her eyes widened when she found out that the girl happens to be you. "(y/n)? what is she doing back here? i thought she was back in the states. why is she with jungkook?" nabi asked herself. she began to dig deeper to find out why you are here. specifically why you're with jungkook? all she could find was people assuming they are dating but she found one comment that stood out from the rest.
nabi quickly looks for that episode and watch it until that part comes. her eyes widened when she saw how serious jungkook looked when he said that. why did he say it to you and not her, his girlfriend at the time? you lied to her about not being interested in jungkook is what she believed at first until she saw your face. you looked uncomfortable and were speechless. she gets up from her bed and rushes down the stairs to see her family drinking as they were having a party. she walks pass them without them noticing since they were too busy talking. she rushes out of her house and heads out in search of jungkook to ask why did he want you so badly? she has an idea of the places where he might have taken you.
and to her surprise, she was right. her heart shattered seeing how happy he was by your side. she wanted to confront you and tell the world your secret but she noticed that you kept a distance from the idol. nabi gets as close as she can get to hear your conversation. "take a bite. i promise it's delicious" jungkook offers you. "no thanks. i'm not going to eat your food. if i want it, i'll buy it myself. can i head back to the dorms? i want to be awake for my early classes. you said i was your 'star' so shouldn't i be back at my dorm so i can be that so called "star"?" you asked. shivers went down your spine when he cups your cheeks. "of course you're my star, but you don't need too much training because you're already perfect for what i have plans for you" jungkook leans towards your face.
