Out Of Touch, Out Of Time [RAY X READER]

88~ You are my dream

After a long conversation in the snowy atmosphere y/n finally explained everything about where she had been, what she had been up to and how her and Ray met again.

"So you're telling me you hit Ray with a frying pan?!" Emma bursted out in laughter throwing her hands over her mouth, as the others joined in on the laughs. "It's not that funny..." The raven haired teen scoffed, looking at the ground. "I'm sad I wasn't there, I want to get that moment framed" Norman chuckled. "Yeah yeah whatever" Ray mocked Norman's words as he rolled his eyes.

"But tell me, where have you guys been? Ray told me you are living in the North American district" y/n put her hands in her pockets, leaning her head on her boyfriend's arm. "Well when we first got to the human world it was pretty surreal" Anna giggled, recalling the event. "Yeah and these black cars came out of nowhere and this old guy told us to come with him! He explained that his name was Mike Ratri and he's your uncle" Emma pointed to the (h/c) haired girl. "I've an uncle? Since when?" She asked. "He is your father's brother. He managed the human world side of things but since all the humans moved from the demon world to here, the clan has become a peaceful one now....though Norman still holds a grudge" Emma side eyed the snowy white haired teen.

"I have to send him a message to let him know we found y/n" Norman sighed with tiredness, holing a phone to his ear. "We pretty much haven't rested since we started the search for you" Ray added with a small chuckle looking at the girl he loved with all his heart. "Yeah and even though Ray couldn't remember you he still came with us on every trip to find you" teased Jemima."Yeah well I didn't want to give up...even though I couldn't remember her" he kissed the top of y/ns head, her cheeks turned a rosey red as she giggled. "Well it's good to know you wouldn't abandon me" y/n smirked. "Wouldn't dream of it" the raven haired boy ruffled her hair.

"We're just so happy to see you again y/n, you know all your files were eased from the systems? That's what Norman said anyways" Emma added in. "It's true, all the data was wiped" said Nat. "I guess it would have made it harder to find me without any information, huh?" The girl asked.

"None of that matters anymore, we're just so happy to see you again and that you're safe of course. We can all finally go home together now and sort things from there" Emma put out her hand for y/n to take. "Let's go home and achieve all our dreams together" the orange haired girl smiled with determination.

Y/n nodded and reached forward to take Emma's hand...but she slowly dropped it, holding her hand to her heart. "What's the matter?" Emma asked, confused at the sudden change of atmosphere. "Don't you want to come with us?" Gilda asked with a small frown. "Of course I do, I want to live with you all but...I can't just abandon Alex, and my other friends...I didn't even know my own name when I first arrived here but...I have a life here now, I can't abandon them either..." the girl closed her eyes for a moment, lost in thought.

"Well you don't have to" Ray spoke up, looking at the girl beside him. "What do you mean?" Y/n asked with a small sparkle in her eyes. "You do realise you have an inheritance of a lot of abundant money, right? Since Peter died the Ratri inheritance belongs to you. We can have a life here but also travel, you can go and do whatever you like, whenever you like. You can visit here any time. As long as I'm with you I really don't care where we go" Ray explained truthfully. y/n smiled "That sounds good" she nodded with excitement.

"Okay I've just talked to Mike Ratri, he's informed the others about y/n and they are all relived. He said he wants to speak with y/n as soon as we get back to the North American district" Norman walked back over to the group, placing his phone into his pocket. "Do you want to get anything before we leave?" Emma asked the (h/c) haired girl. "Well I want you guys to come meet someone" smiled y/n.

A loud knock was heard from Alexs wooden door. The sky grew even darker than before, worrying him of y/ns absence. "That better be her" he sighed as he unlocked the front door. A group of unfamiliar teenagers and two little kids stood behind y/n and the raven haired boy he had met earlier. "Alex! This is my family! They found me!" The girl giggled as she hugged the elderly man.

He stared at the group as his jaw dropped, his eyes were wide open. "I'm going to need to sit down for this one" he mumbled, walking over to his arm chair with his hand on his head. "Come in you guys" y/n giggled, taking Rays hand and sitting on the soft maroon couch.

"Look Emma! The man has loads of huskies!" Jemima and Phil gasped, running towards the fluffy dogs, each with a tail wagging. "So cute!!" The orange haired girl squealed. "Woah...your house is so cool!" Don gazed around at the wooden staircase and kitchen.

"It's so nice to meet you! I'm y/ns sister Emma! Though we aren't really related we all grew up at the same house!" Emma shook Alex's hand strongly. "Your name is y/n?" Alex looked over at the (h/c) haired girl. "Yeah, it's a pretty long story but I'm sure they will fill you in" y/n smiled at the man.

"Basically we escaped a demon world but y/n had to trade her memories and Rays for our freedom! But now we've found her!" Jemima said, rubbing the dogs fluffy coats. "Uhh...okay..." Alex trailed off, feeling quite over whelmed. "It's complicated, I know...but I'm so relieved they found me"  y/n looked over at the man. "It's nothing I won't get used to, I'm happy for you. I always told you that your family would find you" he chuckled, getting to his feet.

"So what are we gonna do now?" Anna asked. "We need to head over to the North American district to speak to Mike Ratri first of all. Then we can go live out any dreams we've ever had I suppose" Norman suggested with a shrug. "You guys didn't do anything fun yet? We've been in the human world for nearly two years" y/n asked, confused. "We didn't want to do anything without you. It wouldn't have been the same" Explained Ray. "Well...let's go do everything our hearts ever desired now, Hm?" Y/n asked with a smile as everyone nodded in agreement.

The Gracefield children one by one began to walk out the front door of Alex's wooden cabin and onto the stoney path leading back down to the small town as they chatted amongst themselves. The white bearded man smiled and waved goodbye to each of the children until only y/n and Ray remained.

"Are you certain you'll be alright?" The elderly man asked. "I'm sure Alex, Trust me. We'll be back soon so don't even worry, alright? ...Thank you for believing in me always" she pulled him into a warm hug for a few moments. "Of course" he smiled. Ray took y/ns hand as the two waved goodbye to Alex.

"So, this is what we've always dreamt of, huh? Everyone's together and safe. No more fighting or surviving...just freedom. All our childhood dreams can come true now...we've come so far" The girl giggled, breathing in the cold air, watching the snowflakes dance around them and the figures of their family walk into the distance, the warm light from the house bounced off their faces, making y/ns eyes glow in her golden presence. Ray gazed at y/n with a spark in his eyes he held her face in his hands and kissed her lips with a gentle touch. "My dream has already been fulfilled" he smiled lovingly at the girl he knew and adored all his life.

"I'm getting to spend my life with you. That's all I ever dreamed of. And I promise to be by your side forever" he kissed the back of her hand, butterflies filled y/ns heart, pulling him into a warm hug, she smiled as tears filled her eyes.

"I love you y/n. I always have and always will, for this life and the next, you are my dream"
