Chapter 11

It's been a week, Naila and Fatima took the DNA test and the results are coming out today. Kathy told Fatima that all important people will meet at her office and they can finally tell Naila who or where her biological mother is. She has been left in the dark, she was not told the real reason why she needed to do a test. Zac was supposed to go to New York but anxiety got the best of him and he decided not to go even though he knows the hell is coming his way. The bullying towards Naila at school has been continuing and she's afraid to speak up.

She is now sitting at her favourite place, the school's stairs colouring in her book that Zac bought her to use when she feels any emotion.

Tyra: If it isn't princess Naila.

Dream: Isn't this lovely, mama Wilson got her baby a colouring book. (She grabbed the book from her hands)

Naila: Stop! (She tried to grab it back but Tyra pushed her)

Tyra: Let me tell you a fun fact about Naila here.

Dream: Oh spill the tea.

Tyra: Naila has been staying with Ms Wilson right?

Dream: Mmhm.

Tyra: But that is coming to an end because Ms Wilson has a baby on the way and they are sending her back to that disgusting place.

Naila: Stop lying.

Dream: Oh baby, enjoy your last days with Ms Wilson.

Tyra and Dream both tore a few pages out of her book and threw it to the floor. Alex saw what happened but he's also scared of Tyra and Dream, Melanie on the other hand is a fire cracker and is not scared of anyone and is always willing to stand up for Naila.

It was the last class of the day and Naila was sleeping while the teacher was talking. She was not concentrating, after the encounter with Tyra, time moved slow and she just wanted to get out of that class. After being woken harshly by her classmate, Naila proceeded to cuss her out, fuck you, was what she said and the teacher was not having it. She was sent to the principals office and with Fatima being the only guardian, she was called.

Mr Philip: Ms Wilson, I know Naila has been under your care for a while now but what she did today is unacceptable.

Fatima: What happened?

Mr Philip: Not only was she sleeping but she cussed out another student.

Fatima: Naila doesn't cuss.

Mr Philip: She does and I was told that this isn't the first time.

Fatima: I'll handle it. School will be out in 10 minutes. I wanted to talk to you about my job.

Mr Philip: Are you leaving?

Fatima: No, I will be taking a break in a few months but I'll give more details as time gets closer.

Mr Philip: As long as you're not leaving.

Fatima walked to Maila who was sitting at a chair outside the principal's office.

Fatima: Go grab your bag pack and find me in my class. The bell will ring any moment.

Naila went to get her things and Fatima went to dismiss her class. Naila went to join Fatima in her classroom. She was going through her students books.

Fatima: You're cussing now? (Naila did not respond). I'm talking to you. Naila?

Naila: What Fatima?
