Zac and Fatima are on different paths in life. They met in an unconventional way but come together when one needed someone of their side. Together they face challenges. Will they last the course of time?
Fatima sat in her bath tub and soaked in bath salts. It's the morning and it's her birthday today. Fatima woke up to an empty house so she decided to soak herself in the bath. Zac and Naila pretended that they forgot her birthday. Fatima got flowers from her parents and a gift from Duke were delivered while she was in the bathroom.
Zac got back from the store with Naila to find gift on their door step.
Naila: I thought you said the gifts will be delivered at the hotel?
Zac: I didn't buy those.
They unlocked the door and brought the gifts inside. Fatima just got out of the tub and was in the kitchen making a mimosa.
Zac: You've got a few deliveries.
Zac placed the gifts on the table. Naila brought in the food they got. Fatima opened her gifts and she just burst into tears seeing what she got.

Fatima had tears in her eyes, Duke remembered. She then started crying because Zac or Naila didn't wish her a happy birthday. Naila went straight to her room when they got back and Zac went to the office, leaving her alone in the kitchen. She went back to bed, feeling unseen.
Naila: I think we should just tell her we were joking, she's crying. (Walking into Zac's office)
Zac: You can't quit now, only 2 more hours and if you feel like you'll burst, stay away from her.
Naila: I'm trying. I hope you got this because I'm not going down with you.
Zac: If it doesn't go as expected, I'll take the blame.
Naila: I'm going to sit here with you. Plus, I want to ask you something.
Zac: You know every time you say you want to ask me something, I get nervous.
Naila: It's nothing hectic, since I won't be going to school until next week and you have to work from home, can you please buy me a ring light for my TikTok videos?
Zac: Okay, we'll go tomorrow or order it later.
Naila: Thank you.
Meanwhile Fatima was getting ready to leave, she called Kathy to speak on how they forgot her birthday. Kathy told her she'll take her out for brunch and have mimosas. Zac and Naila heard her moving around the kitchen and took her car keys.
