It was another day of school, going back to society for Y/n and Ben was difficult. Both even going to some therapy sessions every week or so. The again, they are just happy for each other, being alive and all. Now with new classes, lots more people asking about their "trip" to Isla Nublar, overall, nothing changed.
Walking through the hallways of High School felt, the same. Listening to music on their sheared headphones as they walked to their next class. An occasional wave to whoever says their name, usually someone they do not know but wave back in politeness. Ben glanced at his surroundings, banners and posters about upcoming prom.
'Dangit how could I forget!' He mentally scolded himself, at that moment seeing a boy asking his girlfriend to prom. 'How do I ask someone to prom?! It took my years to even ask Y/n to be my girlfriend, not this?'
"...To my conclusion, that is why Anakin Sywalker is a true menace to the universe if he were real." Y/n noticed her boyfriend lost in thought, "Ben, you good?"
Ben had switch over to reality, "Yes! Perfect, you know what, I think we should be getting to class. I don't want my first trady of the year. Heh..."
Y/n shrugged, "Makes sense, I just want to get some food after." Ben only nodded, opening the door for Y/n, placing their bags down as class started.
The poor boy just couldn't stop worrying about asking Y/n to prom. Or if she even wants to go.
When Y/n had texted Ben, saying how she'll be at a photo shoot for the remainder of the day, he was both relieved and sad. Sad, obviously because she was so busy again, relieved because that leaves him more time to think on how he'll ask her to prom. Yes, they are dating and official, but Ben wants to properly ask her, put some effort into surprising her.
For some reason, Ben thought it would be a good idea to ask the group for advice. Arranging a group video call.
"Hey, what's up?" Darius asked, in his room.
"What up Bro." Kenji greeted, bowling and setting up the phone.
"Hii!" Sammy and Yazmina waved, in front of a ranch.
"Hey guys." Brooklynn joined, seemingly on her desk.
"Did it work? Oh-Hello." Hap adjusted his camera, who seemed to be on his bed.
"Where's Y/n?" Kenji asked, rolling a bowling ball.
"That is actually why I called...." Ben trailed off sheepishly.
