Something About You [Gojo x Reader]

A/N + Prologue

A/N: 

First a long ish author's note:

Hi I'm a new writer and definitely a new 'x reader' writer so please have mercy on me. I never even read much 'x reader' so feel free to help me out in the comments.

I read somewhere that people like 'x reader' with no "y/n" so I've been actively avoiding needing to use the reader's name but lmk if that's completely nuts and I'm wrong.

I'm new to writing fanfiction obviously, but i'm hoping at the very least the main characters aren't too ooc. I apologize in advance for any errors with the jjk world, some of it was changed to fit the plot line and some I just didn't know.

Anyways this is based loosely off a comment in the character guide that says something along the lines of "general school subjects are taught by other people at Jujutsu High", but made a little bit sillier for fun.

Now for a very short prologue I made to introduce the plot. Enjoy

Prologue

"We need a WHAT?"

At least Megumi contained himself from laughing. Nobara and Yuuji; Not so much, as per usual. The two jujutsu high sorcerers were practically doubled over with laughter.

"I bet it was your fault! What did you even get on our last exam?" Nobara jabbed a finger in Yuuji's face.

"Why are you blaming me?!" The pink haired boy managed out between his laughter, "I bet it was you!"

"That's sexist-!"

"Enough, please" Principal Yaga's exasperated voice cut through the students, "It wasn't anyone's fault. It just came to my attention that some of our sorcerers aren't quite as- uh- well rounded-"

This caused another bout of giggling between the students.

"-as others," The principal raised his voice over the student's laughter as he continued, "So, I decided it would be necessary to invite an old friend to help the students with more basic skills, like reading and writing at a higher level." He had to pause again for the kids' stifled giggles, "As much as working with your cursed technique training is important, it's important we keep our students well rounded. I know you've all met Nanami, and it's very well possible one of you may follow his path and go back to a more standard job."

"Does this mean we're finally getting rid of Gojo?" Megumi's face looked hopeful.

Principal Yaga sighed, "No, sadly. You'll all continue your normal Jujutsu high training, along with some additional classes in the morning taught by our guest."

"So this new teacher is a jujutsu sorcerer too then?" Yuuji asked curiously, wincing as Nobara jabbed his side in response.

"Obviously," She scoffed, "The real question is why are we the only three here? Are we really the stupid class?"

Yaga shook his head, unfazed by her comment, "No, it will eventually be a schoolwide thing, we just decided to test the waters with the first year class. As for the first question you asked Itadori-" he thought for a second, "Sort of," he admitted, "Yes she was a sorcerer who attended Jujutsu high some years ago. But, similarly to Nanami, she decided this life wasn't for her. She's spent the last few years as a typical highschool teacher, which is exactly why we asked her here. Now," He quickly spun on his heel, eager to avoid any more of the student's questioning, "Enough questions, you'll be able to meet her on Monday and ask as many as you want. I expect all of you to greet her and be on your absolute best behavior when she arrives. Now, it's getting late, so back to your rooms."

With that, the students were off to bed, still bickering and laughing as they walked back to their rooms.
