You really weren't sure what prompted you to take the job at Jujutsu high, but somehow you found yourself trying to stuff folders into an overfilled briefcase, already running late. You curse quietly to yourself as you get into the car that was supposed to take you to your new workplace. Once you're finally on the way, you have time to properly think.

You had sworn you would never go back to the life of sorcerers, so what had brought you back now? The answer was simple, and you already knew it; Money. You were dirt broke, and a highschool teacher's salary was not exactly getting you far in life. When you saw the amount Yaga was offering to pay you, you jumped on the opportunity. So what if it was teaching a bunch of sorcerers? At least you didn't have to do any of the curse-killing.

You sighed at just the thought, watching trees pass by through the window. It wasn't your first time at a new job, and your nerves had already calmed. Maybe it would be a good day, and you'd love working there? Even thinking it, you didn't quite believe it.

You weren't lost once you finally arrived because you had attended Jujutsu High. Buildings came flooding back into your memory as you walked through the campus towards the main building where Yaga had asked you to meet. As you got closer, you saw the silhouettes of a few people waiting for you.

You scanned the people as you got closer. It looked like three highschool students; a smiling pink haired boy (Was that hair natural?), a solemn black haired boy, and an eager looking girl. Directly behind them stood a very tall man with stark white hair sticking above a black blindfold. Could he even see? You recognized his uniform, knowing this must be the student's teacher. Lastly, of course, was Principal Yaga himself, looking slightly stressed.

"You're late", were Yaga's first words, dragging a hand down his face, "You and Gojo are going to get along great," He muttered.

'Who?' You thought silently, but decided not to push the stressed looking man any further right now.

"Hey, hey, be nice Yaga!" The tall white haired man spoke, perhaps a bit too enthusiastically, "You're the one who told us not to scare her away."

"Sorry," You apologized briefly, bowing your head down, "It's a pleasure to meet and be working with you all." You decided to keep it simple and polite.

"I'd like to introduce you all to our new teacher," Yaga spoke, his voice sounding dull and bored, as if he was forced to do this.

The students quickly went down the line, simply saying their names and politely bowing in respect. You tried your best to commit them to memory, associating each name with their faces. Nothing really stood out, only the black haired boy having a girl's name. They seemed ordinary enough to you.

You were knocked out of your thoughts by the white haired man speaking loudly again.

"And I'm Satoru Gojo! The best teacher on campus! Isn't that right guys?" He didn't stop to let them answer, "And the best sorcerer! And-"

"Shut up," The black haired boy, Megumi, elbowed him.

So that was the Gojo Yaga mentioned earlier? The name sounded familiar, but you couldn't quite put your finger on it. You feel a tinge of irritation. The ego he had was not exactly flattering, not to mention how loud and obnoxious he sounded. But you push it down and force yourself to smile politely as Gojo dramatically pouted at the boy elbowing him.

The rest of the meeting passed uneventfully, and it wasn't long before the students were dismissed to relax before their afternoon training.

"I have to go to a meeting," The principal sounded dejected at the idea, "So I'm going to have Gojo show you around quickly, some things have changed since you were last here."

You internally groaned at the thought of walking around the whole campus with that overenthusiastic long legged nutjob, but outwardly just nodded curtly.

Gojo's expression didn't falter, seeming just as happy about walking around campus as anything else, "No time to waste!" he started walking down the path, gesturing for you to follow. Jeez, his long legs carried him fast.

You scowled internally at him beckoning for you to follow like a dog, but sucked it up and quickly walked to catch up.

As you and him walked you noticed two things pretty quickly: He could definitely see through his blindfold (Too many trees were avoided). And he truly never shut up (Not sure if hearing about the nearest sweets shops was going to help you out much with your job).

You vaguely try to follow his conversation, but you found he seemed perfectly content practically talking to himself. Finally when he slowed down you managed to ask a question that had been bugging you.

"Where do I know your name from?" You asked, shoving your hands in your pockets as the two of you walked into one of the school buildings.

"Hm?" He turned and looked at you, which was kind of weird when you couldn't see his eyes, "You really don't know?"

Your face reddened slightly, "I haven't exactly been in this world recently if you're someone famous or something." You shot out defensively.

That just made him laugh, "Well now that you mention it, I am pretty famous," He boasted arrogantly, "But probably what you're thinking of is my family name. Real famous Jujutsu clan, you probably would've heard of it while you were at school here."

As he explained, the memory came back to you. Of course, that's what it was, just some stupid clan you learned about in school.

You nodded and took the opportunity to look a little closer at the man while you two were talking. Upon further inspection you noticed the man looked about your age. You had a similar thought in your mind as you had with Yuuji about whether his hair color was natural.

"Whatcha staring at?"

You jumped. It didn't even look like he was looking at you.

"What's with the blindfold?" You asked curtly, crossing your arms and attempting to distract from him catching you zoning out.

'It helps with my cursed technique," He hummed out simply, speaking as if he was asked this question often, "Ah!" He stopped in front of a classroom door, "Here is your classroom! In the perfect location becauseee it's right next to mine!" He spoke like a gameshow host announcing the grand prize.

You raised your eyebrows, but you supposed that made sense. You were both teaching the first years anyways.

"Thank you for the tour," You say politely, "I should start getting set up."

"Good luck!" With that, Gojo skirted away pretty quickly, practically bouncing off the walls. He reminded you of a toddler who had too much sugar on Halloween. You couldn't believe you would have to work with this man-child.

You sighed and looked around the empty classroom, setting the briefcase down on the desk. Your first day of teaching would be tomorrow, so you found yourself hunched in the desk chair at the front of the room, pouring over the lesson plans you had created with Yaga's recommendations. They were just typical high school literary lessons. You remembered how chaotic life at Jujutsu high had been, so you hoped to bring at least a bit of teenage normalcy into their lives.

The rest of the day slipped away from you as you worked, lost in familiar thoughts of the job you had been doing for years. Before you knew it, your uneventful first day at work had come to an end.
