Original Six

Gafferty Van Easton walks up the stairs leading to the Dawn Estate.
A few of the staff are in the process of removing their own personal items from the estate. Moving trucks have arrived and the all of the grounds were seemingly being taken down.

"It's as though we never even existed!"

Declares Ander Dawn, Augusta's father and Gafferty' best friend since their own days at AAA

"You are just going to tear it all down and leave Ander?"

"We haven't even really been here man. We've allowed our children to live and be cared for here, but we simply haven't been able to be right for them or this place. Now she's dead!"

Ander, doesn't have tears. His emotions are locked in, and Gafferty knows that very well about Ander.

"Sins of the past. Our past Ander!"

"We did this to all of them. It started with us."
Gafferty says to Ander.

"If you run. If you tear this all down and give in, Cassadine and the Di Lauro's ultimately win. They've succeed so far in blackmailing Meredith and getting our signature. Do you want them to do the same to Selma or to your other children?"

Gafferty gets through to his friend.

Eighteen Years ago Gafferty, and Ander were part of a street gang. Young elite kids with a thirst for danger. They got mixed up in a drug ring that had connections to the Mafia. They became tangled into a web of bringing down Lupiio Di Lauro when aiding Maynor and Cassadine.

If you recall it was Cassadine who turned on his family and ultimately took over. Cassadine had his own best friend in Matteo Armazio. Matteo was closer with his drug addiction and ties with Gafferty and Ander. He kept their involvement secret as much as he could.

The ties that bind the friends years ago, are now having their lives bound by destroying their families today!

Cassadine shuts the door to the examination room where Augusta's body lay. He tells the doctor to make sure her father knows she died of a drug overdose at the hands of Caulfield Germaine and was not poisoned.

"If it's ever leaked that she was poisoned... well let's just say your own daughter will fall victim to unfortunate ways!"

Fernanda thanks officer Ridges for looking out for Caulfield as she enters in to see him. He asks her about Amanda, and she says that she is doing ok.
Fernanda takes a moment to grip her own feelings. She can't help but have a flashback to a night she spent in bed with Matteo Armazio years ago. Two young friends who slept together. She wonders if these happenings have everything to do with back then. Her friends, the things they did and the death of Lupiio Di Lauro!
