Chapter 20

Hey, sorry I haven't updated in a while I was at FCA camp. Then the day after I got back, I had cheer camp and it just ended today so...

Idk I will have the goals at the end of the chapter and here's this one...

Kavery's POV:

"Kavery. Kavery, wake up!" I jumped at the words that were coming from a very familiar voice.

"Cade?" I said opening my eyes but quickly shut them because of the bright light in the room.

"Ya, it's me." He responded sounding depressed.

"Why do you sound sad?" I asked my eyebrows furrowed in confusion but also a little hurt.

"I don't know Kavery! Maybe because the girl I love is getting married to someone who is not me!" He yelled making me flinch and jump back a bit.

"I'm so sorry Kavery, I didn't mean to yell it's just, you gave me an invitation to your wedding and a note saying you want to break up with me officialy. It was just too much for me to handle, and I told myself I'd win you back. I just- I don't know any more." He said finishing his long rant.

I layed there dumbfounded and moved to sit up. When I was up he had bags under his eyes and looked completely tired.

I rubbed my thumbs on the little bags under his eye and he looked down saying," Say something, anything, please Kavery."

"You never lost me." I stated matter-of-factly.

He looked up and into my eyes. "Please don't do this." He begged me.

A frown formed on my lips as i looked down,"I have no choice." I said.

"Bull!" He exclaimed standing up making me jump back even more.

"Crap, I mean this is sh-, I mean- ugh." He said giving up.

I sat there stunned not making a sound or moving.

"Kavery, I'm in love with you. Your the only one I've ever been in love with and it hurts so bad knowing you are going to get married to that - that boy." He said getting mad as his fist clamped into fists.

Speaking of which, where is Aaron?

"Where is Aaron?" I asked.

"Great, just great. I open up my feeling for you and you just end up asking where that freak show is." He said his knuckles getting white from the pressure he was putting on his fists.

"How'd you get in here?" I asked yet another question.

"You don't want me around do you? You want him around. You want to be in his arms not mine." Cade said as he moved his hand to my face to make me look at him.

"No! Not at all. If anything I want to be in your arms Cade and I love you too but your making it pretty freaking hard to right now!" I yelled pulling out of his grip.

He opened his mouth to respond, but I beat him to it.

"You know what? Just go I can't have this pressure right now along with the pressure I have for the wedding in two days. Speaking of which, I have to go and pick out the flowers for my wedding with Aaron!" I yelled.

I saw his eyes glisten which I think he was crying but I wasn't fully sure.

He turned around and left without saying a word.

...2 hours later...

"I like these." Tara said pointing to the the red and creamed white color roses with a big red bow that matched the one on my dress.

"I do too." I agreed with Tara. They were beautiful and fit the wedding colors perfectly.

I turned to Melissa givin her an what-do-you-think look. She nodded furiously.

Me and Tara chuckled as we went to go and purchase the flowers.

"I'll take these." I said with a smile. I looked at the man behind the counter. He seemed around 21 or so, and had one eyebrow raised.

"Here you go" he said returning the flowers and a slip of paper.

I thanked him and he winked at me. Melissa, Tara, and I walked out of the store.

I took the slip of paper from my purse as we all piled into my car.

It said 'call me if you ever get bored of your so-called-husband. 274-132-890 ;)'. I shuddered as I read it and it was quickly taken from my hands.

(A/N. I made up the phone number so please don't call it and disturb someone that has nothing to do with this book! Thanks. ;-* )

"Oooh, looks like somebody's got and admirer." She said as she winked at me. Ew. Just ew.

We all burst out laughing.

The whole car ride home was just us singing so loud with the windows down and us laughing.

As soon as I got home, I went straight to bed, also known as the couch, and drifted off to sleep thinking of all the things that have happened throughout the day. Then a thought slipped my mind, where the sugar cakes was Aaron.

So, not a good chapter at all. Sorry it's just I'm so tired and thought I needed to give ya'll something to read. And sorry for all the mistakes I made cause I have no time to edit. And where was Aaron?????
