"Jimena, ¿sabes la respuesta para el número ocho?"Mrs. Alvarez asked me during class. Math wasn't my strongest, I loved English. Unlike Luna she was the best at math without even trying. Daya was good at both but she liked history better.
"Jimena, do you know the answer for number eight?"I don't get why.
It's so boring.
Why focus on the past instead of the future. The past can't be changed yet the future can still be determined.
I was born in Florida. I lived with my dad until he died in a car accident. I then moved in with my mom and her husband and his son.
Since the beginning they didn't like me. They said mean things to me when my mom wasn't there. The words turned into hits.
One day when I was five I was outside with my doll Fiona when all of a sudden a girl with the most beautiful grey eyes came towards me. It was the start of a friendship that changed my life.
"Jimena?" Mrs. Alvarez asks again.
"60." I respond with a small smile.

I'm at home in my house in the center or the living room. My math book on top of the coffee table in front of the tv. I'm currently watching Gilmore girls for background noise purposes.
Luna is out with Thiago doing some business. I know about the mafia I just don't get involved in it. Daya went out to get me a cup of coffee.
We live in a six bedroom modern house. Perks of being friends with the Donna. Luna's isn't just my friend, she's my sister. She saved me from my abusive stepdad.
All three of us live here. Thiago, Noah, and Gael come here once in a while they have their own rooms but they have their own apartments.
