*Harry's POV*

I'm sure we can all relate to this.

We might always think that parents are a nuisance, restricting our freedom. But in fact, we still hold a certain depth of connection and love for them.

So don't judge if I'm acting like a baby when I don't see my mum in the morning. Cause one, I am secretly a baby. And two, I am a baby. So yeah.

And she has a slight case of Alzheimer. People say it's nothing cause it's minor, but I don't want to take any chances. Especially after what happened to my dad.

Okay that's getting sensitive. Right. Find mum first.

"Lou! You stay here. Imma go out and find my mum. See if she's around here." I hollered from the doorway as I wore my beanie.

I stepped out the door and onto the pathway, having no idea where to go, or where to start, in exact.

F*ck.

*Louis' POV*

F*ck? Like wth? I ain't gonna just wait and do nothing. You should know better Hazza......

*My POV*

Ahhhhh.... Fresh air.

It's Saturday morning . I'm standing on the porch in front of my house, my arms wide open, like how they did it in Titanic. Not that I want to get shipwrecked or..... Yeah you get my point.

After aeons of hibernation and boring-ness, I've finally come out from my den. I just started college this week, which by all means, THANK GOD I'M FINALLY DOING SOMETHING NOT INVOLVING CHORES OR BABYSITTING.

Yes, I'm THAT desperate.

Well, apart from a little culture shock, everything's doing fine. Made new friends, learn new stuff, nothing I can't complain about.

Since it's just the start of college year, there's no homework for me........ So I decided to spend my morning lying on the grass. (or waste my time doing nothing in another way).

Anyway, just peace and quiet for me.

Then something totally unexpected happened.

Some lady toppled into my porch, looking dazed and walking like a drunk. But who would get drunk in the middle of the morning?

I immediately got up on my feet, subconsciously retreating by small steps as the crazy middle-aged woman approached in my direction.

Oh dang.

Suddenly she just tripped and fell head first onto the grass. Ouch. Out of instinct, I immediately acted and ran over to her side, forgetting that I should first check whether she's hiding a knife or even gun. Well.... I just deal with it when it comes to that.

The woman looks harmless enough. Maybe she's an Alzheimer patient? I do know how they have a misguided sense of direction and memory lapse. (I sound like a nerd) I gently pull her up onto her feet and directed her towards the swing on my porch.

After making sure that she's actually sitting and not trying to run off, AGAIN, I went to get her a bottle of mineral water (Sorry can't have her breaking my mum's mugs. I'd be dead.) I tried asking her her name and where does she lives but after 3 minutes of hearing her say "I have two bananas" repeatedly, I just sat with her quietly and didn't press her on further questions for the fear that I would go bonkers too. (You never know)

I figured that I didn't want to call the police cause it's really troublesome and maybe her family members are already searching for her around here, so Imma just hang on for a little while more.

"Haz........ Bananas...... "

"Bananas...... Love...... Haz......"

Right............ Getting a little awkward now.

*Harry's POV*

"Mum!"

"Mum!!"

"Mum!!!"

This is f*cking getting nowhere. Where the hell did you go mum?!

Please be safe...... please be safe......

That's like all I can think of right now.

Just f*ck.

*Louis' POV*

Pick up your bloody phone, Haz!

*Harry's POV*

"Waking up, beside you I'm a loaded gun......"

My shitty phone starts ringing to Louis' personal ringtone.

Oh man, I love that song! Can I don't pick it up?

Reminder to self, mum's missing. Maybe Louis found her?

"What took you so long mate? I've found her and I'm bringing her home right now. Jeez what's good an iPhone if you don't use it? Bloody hell Haz...... "

"Roger that mate. See you later at school. And thanks!" I quickly ended the call, not wanting to be lectured by Louis for the thousandth time for not answering my phone.

Glancing at my watch, I sprinted all the way to school, safe from toilet duty by a mere second. Thank God for the long legs.

I lingered at the school gate for a few moments, waiting for Louis to turn up. He's definitely late so I figured I should do the explanation to the discipline teacher since it's kinda my fault he was running late.

What I did not expect was Louis already in school, standing so quietly behind me trying to jump on me. He failed, by the way. (Ha!) Somehow Louis arrived a wee earlier than me, looking at the fact that he still had to bring my mum home and rush all the way here.

Don't tell me he can Apparate.

What? You're judging me aren't you?Hot guys like me can't read Harry Potter?

Just kidding.

But truth be told, I love reading. I don't know why I love it, but I just, you know, love reading.

And to make myself clear, I read decent novels, not pornographic magazines.

A/N : Hi people! It's been ages since I've updated. Sorry if the plot isn't interesting but I'm working on that :) Not to mention that my writing skills are indeed rusty. Anyway thanks a lot for reading this chapter!
