The next morning, you awoke with a sense of excitement still lingering from the previous night's memories. As sunlight streamed through the windows, you reached for your phone, your heart racing at the thought of messaging Homelander. After a few moments of hesitation, you decided to send him a cheerful message, letting him know you were thinking of him.

"Good morning! Hope you have a great day 😊," you typed, hitting send before you could second-guess yourself.

The hours passed slowly, each tick of the clock reminding you that Homelander hadn't yet responded. You tried to keep busy, reminding yourself of what he had told you last night about his hectic schedule, but the silence still weighed on you.

Meanwhile, Homelander had been caught up in a whirlwind of commitments. The morning was filled with back-to-back interviews, each one a performance in itself as he maintained his polished public image. It wasn't until mid-afternoon that he found a moment to himself, expecting to finally have some downtime.

However, just as he began to relax, Ashley approached him with an urgent reminder. "Don't forget," she said, her voice laced with the familiar mix of exasperation and efficiency, "The Seven has that three-day retreat starting tomorrow. Cameras will be rolling all day, so no distractions."

He nodded, trying to mask his irritation. The retreat, a thinly-veiled PR stunt, would mean three days of enforced camaraderie and constant surveillance. With a sigh, he headed back to his penthouse to pack and prepare, his thoughts briefly drifting to you and the night before.

The day slipped away faster than he'd anticipated, and it wasn't until the sun dipped below the horizon that he remembered your message. Pulling out his phone, he saw your cheerful text and felt a pang of guilt for not responding sooner.

"Hey, sorry for the late reply," he typed quickly. "Today was crazy busy. Just got a chance to relax now."

When your phone chimed, you immediately perked up, a smile spreading across your face as you read his message. You responded, "No worries! How was your day?" eager to hear more about his life.

He kept his reply vague, mentioning only the interviews and some upcoming obligations. "Just the usual stuff, you know. Keeping busy," he texted, steering clear of any specifics about the retreat.

As the conversation flowed, the familiar warmth and playfulness between you resurfaced. The banter took on a flirtatious edge, each message tinged with an undercurrent of desire.

"You looked amazing last night," he texted, recalling the way you had moved in the shower, each droplet of water accentuating your every curve.

Your cheeks flushed at the compliment, a thrill running through you as you replied, "And you made me feel incredible. Can't stop thinking about it."

His response was immediate, teasing yet sincere. "Glad to hear it. You know, I haven't been able to get you out of my head either."

The conversation quickly escalated, the teasing becoming more suggestive. You felt a familiar heat pooling within you as his words ignited your imagination.

"What are you wearing right now?" he asked, the question both bold and enticing.

You glanced down at your cozy attire, wishing you had something more alluring to describe. "Just something comfortable," you replied coyly, deliberately keeping it vague.

"Comfortable sounds nice," he texted back, "but I'd love to imagine you in something a bit more... revealing."

The thought made your heart race, and you decided to play along, teasing him with your words. "Maybe you can picture me slipping out of everything, slowly..."
