A blast from the past(Hyunlix)

HYUNJIN

Today I was going for lunch with that guy who I met earlier on and I really didn't want to go. I was in school and I was used to eating alone and all of a sudden I've got someone who wants to eat with me.

I found the dude sitting at my usual spot watching some random videos on social media and I sat opposite him." H-hi" I said nervously my voice barely above a whisper. He looked at me before smiling a bit and waving." Hi" he said with a chuckle following his greetings.

"Before anything let me introduce myself. I'm Jeongin, Yang Jeongin. A third year MBA program student" he said with the same smile plastered on his face and I nodded." H-Hyunjin. I'm a graphic design student " I said stuttering a little bit, a habit I'd accepted at this point.

"Nice to meet you Hyunjin" he smiled and I nodded with a small smile not feeling like saying anything back. He was giving too much masculine energy and I didn't like how his face was plastered with a smile all the time.

Trust me I'm fine with smiling people but I'm not used to so much smiling, it made me doubt him." I was wondering if you have plans for the weekend" he asked softly." Uh excuse me? I have a boyfriend" I said sharply.

He chuckled before responding to me in a soft voice." Of course. Everyone in Uni knows you're the famous Lee Felix's boyfriend so I know you have a boyfriend". I felt the blood rushing to my cheeks and I nodded sheepishly scratching my nape out of embarrassment.

"Actually, I have a boyfriend too and he's the reason I approached you" he tapped his fingers on the table." Well, kudos. Welcome to the community" I said not knowing what to say and he let out a soft laugh.

"My boyfriend is in your class if you haven't realized yet and he's been nagging me for a meetup with you" Jeongin said interlinking his long fingers and putting his chin on top of them with his elbows on the table.

"W-why would h-he want to meet up with me?" I whispered softly my ear tips turning bright red. He sighed and shook his head with what I would say was mock resignation." He thinks you're cute and he always talks about you" he responded.

For the umpteenth time my cheeks burned and I put my cold palms on them. There was nothing really cute when it came to me, the said Minho might have been blind or extremely idiotic.

"W-why?" I asked." It's something he should tell you personally. I might be his boyfriend but I don't have the right to expose the things he hasn't given me the  permission to" he said and I nodded acknowledging the truth behind his words.

Before I could say anything his phone rang and he excused himself and answered the phone. I continued with eating the food that I'd momentarily forgot and in a matter of seconds he came back and handed me his phone.

"Can you please say hi to Minho. He's a bit...a bit demanding right now and I cant refuse his orders" he begged softly and I swallowed nervously. " He doesn't bite, and even if he does he'll probably bite me" he chuckled and I nodded before looking at the said Minho.

I instantly recognized his face from my class and my nerves calmed down a bit as he waved to me. His cute pink beanie with cat ears instantly caught my little eye and it took all my willpower to not scream right there." Hi" I said with small smile waving at him.

"Hi" he said shyly waving to me in a...dare I say it babyish voice and my jaw dropped. I looked at Jeongin and he nodded as though he saw the question right through my skull. I nodded and looked back at the screen.

"Hi Minho" I said softly and he nodded before keeping quiet and looking down probably wondering what to say. "C-can I talk t-to Innie?" he asked in his soft baby voice and I nodded before passing the phone to his boyfriend.

The two talked for some time and soon he finished." I don't think I need to explain anything" Jeongin said and I nodded sipping my drink. The silence stretched between us as I thought of the things I wanted to ask him but felt shy to ask.

"So yeah, that's Minho and as you can see he's a bit unique in his own way" he said and I nodded. I loved how he called him unique, it was cute and I couldn't resist the smile that formed on my lips.

"Well I guess I'll see him tomorrow after class. For now you can give me his socials and I'll try to get familiar with him" I said and he nodded with a smile showing his dimples.

Not so long after I heard my phone vibrating and I checked only to find that he had sent his boyfriend's socials." I guess I'll not bother you any more. See you soon" he said standing up and smiling again." Okay bye" I waved to him and went back to watching his boyfriend's insta.

Not gonna lie he had a huge amount of followers and he deserved it. He was so cute he put all everyone to shame with his smile. After chatting for a bit with him my most favorite person arrived and I went leaving half of my food on the table.

I returned after taking about three steps and took my fried chicken before running back to him and jumped onto his arms." Whoa someone's happy" he said after catching me with ease and kissing my forehead.

We took off and he held my hand while driving and I was busy scrolling through Minho's insta posts" What are you looking at honey?" Daddy asked softly kissing my hand.

I gasped dramatically and placed my phone on my bag and turned to look at him even though he was focused on the road." Daddy I met another little and he wanted to meet me" I said and he smiled.

"That's remarkable munchkin. So...when are you two going on a little date?" he asked and I smiled at his thoughtfulness." I don't know, we only chatted for a bit and his sentences were a bit incoherent as though he was in little space" I responded and he nodded with a hum.

"I guess you'll speak to him and inform me when you're ready" he said and I nodded. The rest of the way was filled with comfortable silence as the soft music filled the car and I started getting a bit sleepy. Before I knew it my eyes closed themselves and I drifted off into a blissful oblivion still holding daddy's hand.
