FELIX

I woke up in the morning feeling very tired. The work for the week was too much and I could already feel myself getting tired.

The restaurants were supposed to be audited. There was an inspection and I had to be there for at least three of them. Running chain restaurants was no joke but when I thought of the fact that I had to see my little pumpkin on Saturday I got motivated.

He was the cutest thing I've ever seen. Aghh! His smile and his eyes not forgetting his whole visuals. I already liked him the moment I saw his profile and the way he was so unhinged in our chats.

When I saw him I liked him even more but I had to wait for him to be comfortable with me and like me back. And even though he was comfortable a little bit, it felt like he was holding back.

It was like he'd been controlled and not guided. That's why he could pause in the middle of nowhere and apologize for absolutely freaking nothing. I wondered how long it would take for me to get him completely out of that mindset but I was willing to put in effort.

Even if in the end he didn't accept me at least I would've helped an innocent soul to be back to how it was. That's all that matters. Seeing people being happy and content.

If I didn't go to bath soon then I was probably gonna spend the whole day simping over him. My baby Hyunjinnie. So cute. My delicate flower.

"Ugh! I'm such a simp" I groaned as I made my way to the shower. I took a quick shower because who spends time in the shower anyway? Unless you're singing. It's understandable and okay to take long showers when you're singing but when you're not? Waste of time and water.

I put on my three piece tuxedo and goddamn I looked handsome. My wavy mullet blond hair made me look so delectable. If I could I would date me. But I can't because I've found someone better.

I snapped a photo of myself. This is to show my little angel how handsome and hot his daddy is. I sounded like a simp, yes I know but I was one.

I took out my phone and found a good morning text from my little angel and I texted him back along with a did you sleep well message and I could almost see his blush.

He responded saying he slept well and he was on his way to class. My little brainy angel. Beauty with brains. That's what he is. I asked him if he had breakfast and he responded with an 'uh I think it's time for my class.' I know that move.

It's just him trying to maneuver his way around the situation. I dialled his number and called him. I just needed to know where he was so I could send some breakfast to him." Hyung" his little breathy voice came and I smiled instantly.

"Hey pumpkin. Did you eat breakfast?" I said softly so as not to make him nervous. I realized he gets nervous easily." N-no hyung. It was late and I-I...." he said way too fast and he was stuttering.

"Pumpkin calm down. Take a deep breath and exhale" he did exactly that." I'm not mad at you little one. I just wanted to send breakfast for you so you wouldn't go to class hungry" he kept quiet probably contemplating the idea.

"It's fine hyung" he whispered." No it's not. Send me your location and I'll send some food for you" I said softly and he said a little yes hyung which I wouldn't have heard of it wasn't for the serenity of my house.

He sent me the location and I quickly told my PA, Seungmin to go get some breakfast and have it delivered to him. He chowed my head but still did it anyway. Lee Felix's baby boy shouldn't go to class hungry.

I then went to work. In a matter of thirty minutes he sent me a text saying thank you for the food and I smiled at his good mannerisms. I responded to his message before burying my head in work.

Signing files left right and centre, having to take a look at the reports prepared by management and having to look at the internal audit stuff. So much work. I wanted the world to swallow me whole even though I was used to the pressure of being the overseer.

Before I knew it it was already lunch but I wasn't going to lunch. I had way too much work. I texted Hyunjinnie to see if he had lunch which he responded confidently that he did and I assumed it was true.

Had he not had it then he would've tried to get out of the situation like earlier on. I told him that I'd FaceTime him in the evening and he agreed and I went back to my work.

"Okay I think it's time you take a break" Seungmin said. We were the best of friends and yet we could really be professional at the same time.

"And why would I do that? Can't you see I'm swamped?"I groaned and looked at his face that was peeping into my office." Because I got you some brownies!" He sang in his cutely nasal voice.

"Did you include it in his breakfast?" I gasped and he nodded with a smile as he got in. He sat down and I closed my laptop and put it aside. He took some brownies and put them on the table.

"He's cute" he said and I looked at him until I realized who he was talking about." I know right? I wanna put him in my pocket and protect him from the cruel world" I sighed as I took a bite of the tasty brownie.

"You'd be controlling him then and not protecting him" he smiled and blushed. Did he just blush at the mention of my baby? Oh hell no I had to ask him.

"Are you blushing when my baby is the topic or am I misunderstanding?" I asked." Ewww, why would I? I just happened to find some prince charming there" he smiled and I nodded feeling stupid.

"So tell me about him. How is he? Is he like tall, muscular, verbal game?" I asked frantically needing all the data at once." Dude calm down. Jeez!" he said." He's the Dean apparently. And muscular? He is but not tall. Verbal game? The best." Seungmin blushed. He really seemed to like whoever he was talking about.

"Oh my little Seungmin is in love." I cooed and he rolled his eyes." I'm not. I've just met him today" he said rolling his eyes." Okay if you say so Seungmong" I said and he nodded with a smile.

" I'm done with my work why didn't you call me to help you out" he asked and I sighed" Never crossed my mind" It was true though.

After lunch he helped me with my work and there was progress. We chatted as we worked and surprisingly the time to knock off arrived earlier.

I took a shower after I got home and instantly called Hyunjinnie. He was so sleepy and I let him sleep because he looked so out of it. I guess school was taking a toll on him.
