A/n POV :
Yoongi offered to drop his boyfriend home after their day together. When they reached Jimin's house, they were greeted by the delicious aroma of Mrs. Park's cooking. She warmly invited Yoongi to stay for dinner, but he politely declined, mentioning that his roommate was waiting for him so they could eat together.
Mrs. Park understood and handed Yoongi several boxes, saying, "I made some side dishes for you. You can take them home and share them with your friend."
Yoongi thanked her sincerely and bid goodbye, heading back to his apartment. When he arrived home, he found Namjoon lounging in the living room. "What's in the boxes?" Namjoon asked, curious.
"Mrs. Park made some side dishes for us," Yoongi replied, setting the boxes on the kitchen counter. As he looked around, he noticed that dinner was already prepared. He remembered telling Namjoon not to cook without him, especially after the incident where Namjoon had burned the kitchen as a child. But when he asked, Namjoon explained with a grin, "I've been learning how to cook from a friend."
"Who?" Yoongi asked, intrigued.
Namjoon's smile widened. "Jin. We hang out often at his restaurant, and he offered to teach me."
Yoongi was happy for his friend and went to the kitchen to check if everything was okay. Satisfied that it was, he told Namjoon, "Wait a bit, I need to shower quickly before we eat."
After a refreshing shower, Yoongi joined Namjoon at the table. They enjoyed their meal together, chatting about their days. Namjoon couldn't stop talking about how cool Jin was and even shared one of Jin's famous dad jokes.
"Why did the scarecrow become a successful neurosurgeon?" Namjoon asked, grinning.
Yoongi chuckled, playing along. "Why?"
"Because he was outstanding in his field!" Namjoon delivered the punchline with a flourish, and they both burst into laughter.
After dinner, Yoongi cleaned the dishes while they continued their conversation, discussing various topics and sharing light-hearted moments. Finally, they headed to their rooms to sleep. As Yoongi lay in bed, he found his thoughts drifting to Jimin, and he drifted off to sleep with a smile, dreaming of his boyfriend.
