A/n POV :

Yoongi walked home with a noticeable spring in his step, humming a cheerful tune under his breath. The warm evening air and the thought of his upcoming date with Jimin filled him with an unexpected lightness.

As he entered the apartment, Namjoon looked up from his book, immediately noticing Yoongi’s unusually buoyant mood. "Well, someone looks happy," Namjoon remarked, a curious smile playing on his lips. "What’s got you in such a great mood?"

Yoongi grinned, unable to contain his excitement. "I just got back from Jimin’s mother’s café."

Namjoon raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Oh? And how was that?"

Yoongi plopped down on the couch beside Namjoon, his smile widening. "It was amazing. I was just sitting there, playing with some cats, and Jimin showed up. We talked for a while, and… he asked me out on a date."

Namjoon’s eyes widened in surprise and delight. "Jimin asked you out? That’s fantastic, Yoongi! No wonder you’re so happy."

Yoongi nodded, his excitement palpable. "Yeah, it is. I’ve been thinking about him a lot since we met, and now… I’m just really looking forward to it. I haven’t felt this excited in a long time."

Namjoon chuckled, genuinely happy for his friend. "That’s great to hear. You deserve to be happy, Yoongi. And Jimin seems like a really sweet guy."

"He is," Yoongi agreed, his thoughts drifting back to Jimin’s bright smile and the way his eyes turned into crescents when he laughed. "I’m just glad I took the chance to go to the café today. It feels like things are falling into place."

Namjoon leaned back, still smiling. "Sometimes, you just have to follow your instincts. It sounds like this could be something really special for both of you."

Yoongi nodded, feeling a wave of gratitude for his friend’s support. "Thanks, Namjoon. It means a lot."

As Yoongi continued to talk about the conversation he and Jimin had shared, the excitement for their upcoming date, and the way Jimin had made him feel, Namjoon listened with genuine interest. Their apartment felt warmer that evening, filled with the hopeful anticipation of new beginnings and the comfort of shared dreams.

When Yoongi finally went to bed, he lay there with a content smile on his face, his thoughts filled with Jimin and the possibilities ahead. It was a night of peaceful sleep, dreams interwoven with the melodies of potential and the promise of something beautiful on the horizon.

The following day was a whirlwind of activity for both Jimin and Yoongi. Jimin was busy teaching back-to-back dance classes, while Yoongi was tied up in the studio, working on multiple tracks. They didn’t get a chance to see or greet each other, but thoughts of their upcoming date lingered in both their minds.

As the sun set and the day finally wound down, Jimin returned home, utterly exhausted. He flopped onto the couch, staring at the ceiling and thinking about his date with Yoongi. Knowing he needed some help, he picked up his phone and called Taehyung, who had been in a relationship with Jungkook for over a year and had plenty of experience in the dating department.

"Hey, Tae. Can you come over? I need your help planning my date with Yoongi," Jimin said, his voice tired but hopeful.

"Of course, Jiminie. I'll be there in a bit," Taehyung replied cheerfully.

Half an hour later, Taehyung arrived, a small bag of snacks in hand. "Hey, Jimin," he greeted, plopping down on the couch next to him. "So, tell me about the date plans. What do you have in mind so far?"

Jimin sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Honestly, I don’t know where to start. I want it to be special but not over-the-top. Just… something nice where we can get to know each other better."

Taehyung nodded thoughtfully. "Well, first dates are all about setting a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. You want to pick a place where you both can talk easily and enjoy each other’s company without too many distractions."

Jimin considered this, then said, "Maybe we could go to a quiet café or a nice little restaurant. Somewhere cozy."

"That’s a great idea," Taehyung agreed. "You could also think about doing something fun and interactive. Like going to an art gallery or a park. Something that gives you a chance to talk and bond."

Jimin’s eyes lit up. "That sounds perfect. Yoongi mentioned he likes music and art, so an art gallery might be really nice. And then maybe we can grab dinner afterward."

Taehyung smiled, pleased with the plan coming together. "Exactly. And don’t stress too much about making everything perfect. The most important thing is to be yourself and enjoy the time you have together."

Jimin nodded, feeling a bit more confident. "Thanks, Tae. I really appreciate your help. I just want this to go well."

Taehyung patted his shoulder. "It will, Jimin. You’ve got this. Yoongi already likes you for who you are, so just relax and let things happen naturally."

They spent the next hour chatting and refining the date plan, with Taehyung offering little tips and suggestions to make the evening special. By the end of their conversation, Jimin felt more prepared and a lot less nervous.

As Taehyung left, he gave Jimin an encouraging smile. "Good luck, Jiminie. I’m sure it’s going to be a fantastic date."

Jimin smiled back, feeling a warm sense of gratitude for his friend’s support. "Thanks, Tae. I’ll let you know how it goes."

With a clearer plan and a lighter heart, Jimin started to look forward to the date even more. He knew that with Taehyung’s help and his own sincerity, he could make the evening something truly memorable for both him and Yoongi.
