The long-awaited day of Jin's birthday finally arrived, and everyone was buzzing with excitement. Their plan was set, and Namjoon, dressed impeccably, made his way to Jin’s apartment. He took a deep breath before knocking on the door, his heart racing with anticipation.

When Jin opened the door, he was greeted by the sight of Namjoon looking as handsome as ever. Jin raised an eyebrow in surprise, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "Namjoon? What are you doing here?" Jin asked, a playful tone in his voice.

Namjoon, slightly shy, responded, "I was hoping... I mean, I wanted to ask you out on a date today. If you’re free, that is."

Jin’s eyes softened, and he felt a warmth spread through his chest. "Of course, I'd love to," he replied, his voice genuine and touched. "Just give me a minute to get ready."

As Jin disappeared into his room to change, Namjoon stood in the living room, trying to calm his nerves. This was it—the day he had been waiting for. When Jin reappeared, he looked absolutely stunning, dressed in a casual yet stylish outfit perfect for the day ahead. Namjoon couldn’t help but smile as he led Jin out of the apartment and into the car.

Namjoon had planned a date by the riverside, where the two of them could walk along the water, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. He brought Jin to a small, secluded spot where he had set up a cozy picnic with a blanket, cushions, and a basket filled with Jin’s favorite foods. The sun was setting, casting a golden glow over everything. They sat together, sharing food, laughing, and reminiscing about old times. Namjoon listened intently to Jin, watching the way his eyes sparkled when he talked, feeling more connected to him than ever before.

After the picnic, Namjoon suggested a stroll along the riverbank, where they talked about everything and nothing at all. The date was simple, yet perfect, capturing the essence of their friendship and the budding feelings between them.

As the date came to a close, Namjoon nervously invited Jin to his apartment. "I have a little surprise for you," he said with a small smile, trying to mask his excitement.

Jin, curious and a bit flustered, agreed. "What kind of surprise?" he asked, trying to guess as they made their way to Namjoon’s car.

"You’ll see," Namjoon replied mysteriously, not giving anything away.

Meanwhile, back at the apartment, the others were hard at work preparing for Jin’s surprise. The living room had been transformed into a warm and festive space. They hung string lights across the ceiling, giving the room a soft, glowing ambiance. Balloons in shades of gold and silver were scattered around, with a banner reading "Happy Birthday, Jin!" hanging prominently on the wall. The centerpiece was the beautifully decorated cake that Jimin and Yoongi had worked on together—an elegant, three-layer cake adorned with delicate flowers and gold accents, reflecting Jin's refined taste.

The table was set with an array of delicious foods that everyone had pitched in to prepare, from savory dishes to sweet treats. They made sure everything was perfect, knowing how much this meant to Jin. Once the final touches were complete, they turned off the lights and hid behind the door, stifling their giggles as they awaited Jin’s arrival.

Soon enough, they heard the sound of the door clicking open. Jin entered first, with Namjoon following close behind. Jin turned to Namjoon, about to ask him to turn on the lights, when suddenly, he heard the loud pop of confetti cannons exploding around him. Startled, Jin instinctively closed his eyes, his heart skipping a beat.

When he opened his eyes, he was met with the sight of all his closest friends standing before him, beaming with joy. The room was bathed in the soft glow of the string lights, and the warm atmosphere was filled with love and laughter. Jin’s eyes welled up with happy tears as he took in the scene.

"Happy Birthday, Jin!" they all shouted in unison, rushing forward to envelop him in a big group hug. Jin felt overwhelmed with gratitude, his heart swelling with happiness. After the hugs and well-wishes, they led him to the table where the cake was waiting.

As they gathered around, Jin blew out the candles, making a wish before cutting the cake. The first slice was shared between him and Namjoon, a sweet moment that didn’t go unnoticed by the others, who exchanged knowing smiles. They all enjoyed the cake and set the table for a hearty dinner, filled with more laughter, chatter, and a few too many glasses of wine.

After dinner, it was time for gifts. Everyone presented Jin with something meaningful, but the gift that stood out the most was from Namjoon. He handed Jin a beautifully crafted leather-bound journal, embossed with Jin’s initials on the cover. Inside, there were notes and memories from each of his friends, with Namjoon’s note at the end, thanking Jin for being the light in his life and expressing his hope for many more memories together. Jin was touched beyond words, the gift resonating deeply with him.

"Thank you, everyone," Jin said, his voice thick with emotion. "This has been the best birthday I could have asked for."

The night continued with dancing, more drinking, and a lot of playful banter. As the hours passed, they eventually settled down to watch movies, all piled together in a comfortable heap. Jimin and Yoongi ended up cuddled together on the couch, Yoongi’s arm draped protectively around Jimin as they drifted off to sleep, surrounded by the warmth of their friends and the memories they had created.

Jin’s birthday had been a resounding success, filled with love, joy, and the promise of many more celebrations to come.
