ahrin used the stain remover wipes her friend, liz gave her. (WE LOVE LIZ🤩)
thankfully, the fruit punch stain disappeared. ahrin's makeup was also waterproof, also perk.
she later went back to the dance floor, as the dj had just now turned on the duos slow dance song. she found her way to heeseung, as he was just as excited she was.
a few minutes ago, everyone attending the prom had voted for the prom duo/couple and they were now dancing the night away (by twice)
"you're a great person, really." ahrin whispered, looking at heeseung, him looking at her with admiration. he didn't really know what to say to her, he just nodded shyly.
just then, that Mr. Jyp guy stood onto the makeshift stage in the pe room.
"we will announce the prom 2024 duo winners in the auditorium. everyone attending, please head to the auditorium." that old hag read out from a script, as the students got up and started walking to the auditorium.
ahrin held heeseung's hand in hers, a simple gesture. while she wasn't fazed, heeseung was instead starting to blush a bit. her holding his hand made him feel a certain way. (love🤭)
ahrin sat down in a seat of the auditorium, heeseung leaning his head on her shoulder as a way of affection.
"the 2024 prom duo award goes too..." mr jyp says, building up tension.
"Choi Ah-rin and Lee Heeseung!" the old bitch announced, as audience clapped.
ahrin looked at heeseung, her eyes widened. she reluctantly got up, her arm linked with heeseung's as they both stood on the stage, being crowned prom duo as the applause went on. ahrin smiled with pride (not the gay type 😖), victory running through her veins.
ahrin turned to heeseung, facing him as she leaned in. "thank you for tonight." she whispered, stepping in and kissing him on the lips. heeseung froze, not knowing how to react, before pulling away and kissing her back. "Ew, not on stage please, love birds." Mr Jyp said with sarcasm and sass, as the two pulled away, laughing as they heard Mr Jyp.
"not only did i catch victory, but i think i caught a crush." ahrin whispered.
heeseung raised an eyebrow. "really? who?" he asked, as ahrin smiled at him.
"you, who else. who else would wait for me? who else would sacrifice his feelings for me?" she said, as he chuckled. she was right.
"i love you..." he whispered, leaning in with another kiss.
