Chapter 7:Suspicious

Back in the Showground, Meggy was pacing back and forth...unable to shake off a bad feeling. "Dude, relax, Tari just went for a walk..how bad can it be?" Bob asks, while Meggy just stops and glares at him. "I know THAT-...it's just....I just...can't shake some feeling off of me...it's......the feeling is.......something is going on, but I don't know WHAT..." She said, before she takes a deep breath and starting to rubs her eyes. "Hey..I'm sure Tari will be fine...." Three said, before the front door opens, showing Tari walking in...having a weak smile on her face.

"Tari!!" Meggy said as she rush to her and check on her, "Are you ok?..did you get hurt??" She asks with worried in her tone, before Tari gently chuckle and pats her head gently. "L-..Meggy!...I'm all fine...." Tari said, before fixing her hair so it covers half of her face. "Nice red streak by the way!" Bob said, before Meggy looks to see a red streak on Tari's hair. "Oh! This? Some old paint got some in my..hair!..no big deal..let me wash it off and play some video games!" Tari said, before she walks to the bathroom and closes the door. "..SMG3...get the group..we need a meeting" Tari said, before Three nodded and walk off.

Later, the crew were in Four's bedroom, keeping an eye on Tari who seems to be playing video games and after they make sure that she was distracted, they look back at each other. "So we can all agree that something is going on with Tari right?" Meggy asks, looking at the crew. "What? It's just some red streak on her hair! There's nothing wrong with that" Mario said, before Saiko looks back at Tari. "But that ISN'T like Tari...plus I don't think she even know how to used hair dye...right?" She asks, which the rest just nodded. "What do we do?" Boopkins asks. "I say we killed this imposter" Bob said, before he pulls up his sword arms, but Four stop him.

"We are NOT killing her...plus...she looks and SOUNDS like Tari...so I don't think it's an imposter......" Four said as the group looks back at Tari, "Plus she seem to act Tari herself" He said. "So is she like..:p-possessed??????" Luigi asks, before he hide behind Mario. "I don't know...but we need to get more clues, before we talk to this....Tari" Meggy said, before the crew checks again, just to see Tari not in the there. "SHOOT!! We lost her!!" Melony said, before Tari appears behind them, "Lost who?" She asks, which the crew yelps and turns around. "Tari! We didn't see you there!" Luigi said, which Tari chuckles a small bit. "Sorry for the scare, I heard you guys are chatting....having a meeting of some kind.." Tari said with a creepy smile.

Meggy notices the creepy smile..before she takes a peek of Tari's robotic arm..it wasn't blue..instead..it was red and had a new red sign on her hand. She clear her throat and starts to pats Tari's shoulder with a small smirk. "Tari..don't forget about the sunset watch soon...maybe we could...go out for dinner..after that..you know...as girlfriends and all" Meggy said, which Tari's eyes went wide and cough a small bit. "Y-Yeah!! I-I didn't forget! I would never forget!..just let me....um...get ready!" Tari said, before rushing out of the room with everyone looking at Meggy, confused.

"Ok, what was that?" Three asks which Meggy turns to them. "Her arm...was red....not blue...something happened to her and I'm gonna find out....with all of us confronting her...it's gonna lead to chaotic...I'll confront her tonight and see what's really going on. I'll inform you guys when I can" Meggy said. "Wait by yourself?! Oi! That's stupid!" Three said. "But what else can we do? It's what we need to do...what I need to do...I'll talk with her tonight and see what's up......after tonight, I'll let you know" Meggy said. "Ugh finnneee" Three mumbles, before rolling his eyes. "What? Jealous that they're going out and you and SMG4 are not?" Bob asks, smirking.

"WE ARE NOT DATING!!!" Four and Three said at the same time with blushes on their face. "...we're...still doing the date after the café is closed right?" Four whispers to Three. "Well, duh! Obviously" Three said, which everyone just looks at them like 'yeahhhhh suurreeeee', before Mario turns to Meggy. "But what if this Tari hurts you or worse?!" He asks which Meggy rolls her eyes. "She wouldn't...yeah! She wouldn't..even so, I'll be ready" Meggy said. "Just be careful...ok?" Melony asks which Meggy gives a thumb up.

Meanwhile, Tari was secretly listening, before she smirks and begins to walk to Tari's room and close the door. She moves her hair back..revealing a cyborg eye-like with a computer chip attached to it. She breathe heavily, before clenches her robotic fist as she grinned and laughs evilly. "So...they have some brains after all...tsk....it's only a matter of time til that orange BRAT finds out about the chip....and tells them about me as that talking hand...tonight...I'm gonna break some bones..and maybe trust on the way" Tari laughs, before she used her robotic arm to blast a mirror nearby which shattered.

"Watch out, little ink~ I'm coming for you"
