Chapter 4

The next day Diane was drinking coffee and getting ready for the day. She went to the bedroom and saw Wolf fixing his tie and he turned to her.

''Morning Diane.'' He greeted hugging her.

''Morning Wolf.'' She scratched the spot behind his ear as his tail wags and he whimpers and then pulls away.

''You're a sly vixen you know what that does to me.'' He growled his paws running up her arms and they pulled her into a kiss as she kisses back eyes closed and paws stroking his neck as they pulled away.

Not far away Nolan was in his car listening to the conversation between Wolf and Diane.

''We should be going.'' Wolf said.

''I know but we still have 10 minutes left.'' She said in a sly voice.

''I only need 3 with you.'' Wolf's voice growled.

Nolan smirked then turned it off and focusing on the bad guys and what they were saying.

Later Wolf and Diane were at the building and went inside as the wolf followed Diane up the elevator and to her office.

''I'll see you in a bit.'' She kisses his nose and goes in.

Wolf sighs happily. ''Someone looks happy.''

He turns and saw Web's at the desk. ''What can I say she amazing.'' He sighed happily.

''I know.'' Webs said.

Diane went over her schedule it was going to be a busy day and lots of paperwork for some new buildings. She was deep in her work and decided to get a drink and went to her water cooler and stopped when she saw something from the corner of her eye outside her balcony.

She walks over and opened the door closing it quietly and looking around not seeing anyone or anything, but she heard the city down below. Suddenly a little bird popped out in front of her startling her. ''Ahh.'' She squeaked and then chuckles at the small blue bird and shook her head going back in and to see Wolf at the desk.

''You ok Diane?'' He asked coming over and looking around.

''Yes, I remember the feeling I had of being watched here? Well, of all things it was only a little bird.'' She told him.

Wolf smiled and shook his head. ''That's a relief.''

But deep-down Diane had a feeling that wasn't it but she didn't want to worry Wolf. ''Yeah, it is.''

''Well still I'll keep an eye out.'' He said leaving her.

Diane sat in her chair and got back to work. But she wasn't aware there of the owl up watching her.

An hour later the door opened and in came Wolf in his suit and glasses. ''Time for a meeting.''

''Thanks. Let's go.'' She said as she grabbed her briefcase and walked out the door.

Diane was in a meeting with a company business, Wolf was inside as well and was keeping a look out as the meeting went on.

''So, what do you think Governor Foxington?'' Asked the company boss.

''It could work, you will have to knock out a few abandon buildings but if it will help then you can do it.'' She said signing her name.

Later Diane was in her car with Wolf next to her. ''That was an easy meeting the easiest one that I've had.'' Diane said.

''Yeah, he seemed to be flirting with you.'' Wolf said as his arm was around her waist.

''Eh, that happens a lot.'' She said shaking her head.

''I know, but still, I think they forget that we are dating.'' Wolf said pulling her to his chest.

''Not everyone most know, and even before I met you, I had guys trying to go out with me.'' She said looking at him.

''I bet, I mean I was a ladies' man before I met you but still, they can flirt just not touch. I don't take kindly to anyone who touches you in a sexual way.'' He said lifting her head and kissed her lips.

She kisses back her paws grabbing his suit. He cups her hip as their tongues met in a hot passionate french kiss.

''We are here.'' The driver said.

''To be continued.'' They whispered to each other as Wolf got out looking around and letting Diane out.

They went up to her office and she went in and over to her desk fixing her papers when she saw an envelope with her name on it and she opened it and read what it said.

''I know who you really are, Governor Diane Foxington or should I say Crimson Paw. I know all about you and your secrets I'll be in touch with you soon.

Diane shook her head and was a bit nervous. Who was this, and why were they after her? The thought of being watched bothered her and she was debating on telling Wolf if this person knows about her then they know about Wolf and maybe the others she decided to keep it quiet as of now.

Later she left and was at her and Wolf's condo on her laptop, then she closes it and places it on the end table.

''Hey beautiful here.'' Wolf came over with two wine glasses as he sat down.

She smiles and takes it drinking. ''Thanks.''

She noticed he was shirtless, and she loved seeing him like that. They clinked glasses and drank, and Diane leaned against Wolf as they watched the news.

''So, what's bothering you?" Asked Wolf.

''Huh?'' She looked at him.

''Well, I mean you seemed troubled.'' He growls.

''I'm not I got you.'' She leans over kissing the side of his muzzle.

He then cups her face and kisses her lips as she wraps her arms around his neck moaning.
