Chapter 1

It was a beautiful sunny day when an alarm went off and groan was heard as an orange fur paw tries to turn off the alarm on her phone and the female fox rolls over and saw the other side of the bed empty and she sat up trying to wake up. But her nose caught a whiff of something good and got dressed and ready for the day and went downstairs and was surprised to see her boyfriend all dressed and ready for the day working on something at the stove.

''Good morning, Diane.'' Wolf said hearing her.

''Morning Wolf, you're up a bit early.'' She pointed out as she went over and wrapped her arms around his shoulder standing on her tip toes and kissing his cheek.

''Yeah, I figured I'd get us some breakfast before work.'' He said as he turned his head and kisses her on the lips.

''Ahh that's so sweet.'' She smiled.

Diane was lucky she was not only Governor the of the state, but she had an amazing boyfriend Moe Wolf. They had been dating for about 6 months a short time after he got out of prison, and they were madly in love with each other.

''Of course.'' He said smiling as he gave her a plate and got some for himself. Eggs, bacon, toast and orange juice.

They ate in silence. ''I thought you up and left this morning.'' Diane said eating.

''Oh, nope not today, though I am going to see the gang after work.'' He said.

''Your going be back here tonight?'' Diane asked looking at Wolf.

''I don't know depends on what the crew has planned.'' He said.

Wolf and Diane were taking their relationship seriously and moving at a pace that was comfortable for them. While he hadn't officially moved into Diane's he did a lot of his stuff their clothes and what not and usually stayed on the weekends or whenever he felt like it.

''Ok.'' She said.

She finished and so did Wolf and they got in his car, and he took her to work. ''Wolf, are you sure we aren't going to be late for work?'' She asked.

''No, we got time besides I love spending time with you.'' He said as he drove.

''So, how is your security job going?'' She asked.

''Alright I guess I'm stuck at the entrance so not too much action though I want to be in the top area with you and Webs.'' He said.

Wolf had become a security guard for Diane, and he would be all over the place making sure the building was safe he thought he'd keep up with Diane, but he has to work his way up to that also his boss hated him. Lately Wolf had been getting the front door duty which he hated he wanted to be up with Diane.

Diane frowned she wanted Wolf up there with her as well.''I will talk to Tug about letting you be my actually personal bodyguard. But I have some meetings today and I need you by my side.'' She kisses him and he kisses back as she left, and Wolf followed.

''See ya at 10.'' She winked at him.

''Yep, good luck.'' He smiled at her.

Diane went up the stairs and put on her glasses as she went in and up to her office and passed the waiting room and saw Web's at the desk.

''Morning Diane.'' Webs said.

''Morning Web's.'' Diane smiled.

Webs Tarantula was her receptionist and she loved it and handed Diane the schedule.

Diane went inside her office and sat at her desk and looked at what she had to do. She had a few council meetings to attend to and papers to fill out. She then smiled at the picture of her and Wolf the night of the gala before everything went down and there was one with her and the good guys in their car.

While going over stuff she got the feeling she was being watched, she shrugged it off and got back to work.

"Webs radio Tug to come up here I need to talk to him." Diane said over the phone.

''Alright guys here is the plan. First, we are going to rob the Golden Jade jewel, then we are going to get the Zimpango Diamond, and hit all the jewelry museums there are about 4 of them here then the gold treasure in the security vault.'' A buff looking bangle tiger said to his crew of 3.

''Ok boss, but um you know that's going to be hard, we can't break in and steal the stuff we are too noticeable or big.'' An Ape named Zang said leaning against the wall.

''I know.'' The boss said.

''So, then what are we going to do?'' Asked a snow-white owl named Mara.

''We are going to recruit someone who is a bad guy who is close to the police and have them do the dirty work.'' A buff rhino named Eric said coming over from the shadows.

''Yep, Eric is right, that is the plan.'' Nolan said.

''Ok, so who are we getting? I mean the bad guys just got out and all the other ones are in jail.'' Mara said.

''Easy we are getting the governor herself Diane Foxington to do it.'' Eric said.

''What?! She the governor she has men everywhere and she would never betray or do anything like that plus she has the 'reformed bad guys with her.' Zang said eating a candy bar.

''True, but Diane isn't just the governor she is the Crimson Paw.'' Eric and Nolan said together.

''Wait! What but we thought that was Professor Marmalade.'' Mara said.

''No, he was at the one that was in the wrong place at the wrong time, besides Diane is the Crimson Paw I should know because a long time ago when she was making her mark on the world stealing stuff, she would also steal stuff from me or get to it before me and Eric could get it. I was following her, and she was in an alleyway and took off her hood revealing herself.'' Nolan said grinning.

''So, we are going to blackmail her into helping us and if we get what we want we will leave her alone.'' Eric said smiling.

The crew nodded. 'Now time to get to work, follow her and see where she goes and in a couple of days, we will use that to our advantage.'' Nolan said.
