HUGE TRIGGER WARNING MENTIONS OF PTSD, ABUSE, GUN, SEXUAL ASSAULT!

Later that night after swimming and our dinner outside with our s'mores. Are Never Have I Ever game finished with North and Raven's almost fist fight after a sentence, North spoke about a goldfish named Luther. Had Raven jumping up and tackling him to the ground shouting to be quiet.

No idea why a goldfish named Luther would have Raven almost killing his brother, but I laughed as the others rushed to the fight. That effectively ended the game, and we all sat around enjoying each other company for a little bit.

Before Luke suggested a movie to finish out the night but I declined and moved to my bedroom instead. A nice bath and relaxing bath were calling my name.

I bid the boys a goodnight and walked up to my room. Locking my door, I grabbed my pjs before walking into my bathroom, leaving the door open. After, filling up the bathtub, I quickly got in and melted. I closed my eyes and started to think about the boys.

I've only known them for only a little bit. Roughly a month has gone by with all 14 of them. Over hearing them talk the other day left me confused. No way all 14 men, liked me. There was nothing to like about. But they were all staring when I first came out in my suit. I mean some of them had their mouths open! Even during our game, at one point they looked to be having a difficult time down below-if you know what I mean. I'm not dumb and I've seen plenty of men like my looks, I've been a solo bird my whole life and not to mention, the baggage I carry from the she-devil is wayyyyyyy to much.

Maybe I can drop my defense a little bit? Hmmmm, I don't know. I want to know more about them but in order to do that I need to open up too. Ugh! This is why I don't let people in! I don't want to relive and share those memories again. My childhood was nothing but abuse. I didn't grow up like most children. Until I was 16, I always thought that abuse and torture was going to be it for me.

Ugh! I don't know!!!!

PING

A loud noise rang out, startling me and bringing me out of my thoughts. I looked onto the counter and saw my phone light up. Standing out of the tub, I quickly dried off and got dressed into cute pink shirt and shorts. After brushing my hair. I reach for my phone. A new message popped up.

UNKNOWN NUMBER

I hear a little bird, and her dogs are looking for me. Just wait until I find you. I think I might have the perfect punishment for a bird who can't keep her mouth shut. Maybe a hot shower will do you good. Or I don't know maybe a quick mixture of your favorite drink will keep you quiet. Hmmm your mother sure knows good ways to shut people up. I think I may be in love.

The phone slipped out of my hand, smashing onto the floor. Did I just read that right? I thought. I looked up into the mirror but instead of seeing 22-year-old me, I saw a little girl with bruises littering her body. I stumbled to the counter gripping it tight.

He knows about my past. No one knows except me and Phil.

He met my mother.

She told him everything she's done to me.

No.

This can't be.

Looking into the mirror again, I gasped. She was standing right behind me. Her hands roughly gripping my neck. I couldn't breathe. I was clawing at my neck trying to get rid of her, but she only squeezed tighter and tighter. I was gasping for air, moving away from the mirror I ran into a shelf behind me. Completely pushing it to the floor. BANG.

I quickly turned away from the mirror, I still couldn't breathe. Instead of the tight squeeze on my throat, I felt burning instead. The scene of spilled towels, broken glass, and hair products open and broken on the floor brought me back to that day. The first time she poured that awful concoction down my throat. I gripped my throat, turning around and turning on the faucet. Gulping down large amounts of water. No matter how many times, I gulped down the water it wouldn't go away.

I stepped back away from the sink and looked back up at the mirror. Still seeing that little girl in front of me. The look of fear and anger surrounding her.

I could hear banging behind me, but I was too focused on the burning pain and the little girl in front of me.

I watched as the little girl looked at me before the image erased and turned into a slightly older vision of the girl. A teenage Sang. She was broken beyond repair. Bruises littered her body. I could see claw marks on her skin. I could feel a tear fall out of my eye. I watched it slide down her face and fall to the floor. Looking back up instead of teenage me, I saw adult me. My neck was burning red and the mess behind me was unbelievable.

BANG BANG BANG

I jumped a bit at the sound coming from my bedroom door. ''SANG'' I heard someone yell.

''OPEN THIS DOOR RIGHT NOW! SANG!''

I looked from the door to the floor and panic filled me. Oh no. She's going to be so mad. I backed up and collapsed to the floor.

BANG BANG BANG

''SANG OPEN THIS DOOR! NOW!''

BANG BANG BANG

Oh no. She brought him over again. No no no. I don't want that again.

I quickly got up and reached for my gun next to my old pile of clothes and ran into the shower. I held it up, pointing right at the door.

BANG BANG BANG CRACK BANG BANG CRACK BANG BANG BANG

The door fell open and multiple men all piled into the room. A man in all black ran straight toward me but stopped at the sight of the gun in my hands. I was shaking. I didn't want to do it again.

All the men seemed to stop completely at the sight before them. No one moved.

''Sang.'' A man to the right spoke. I briefly looked at him before looking back at the man in front of me. He looked really familiar, everything straight and clean, he looked like the definition of perfect, I thought.

''Sang look at me.'' The man to the right said.

I looked over again, this time looking at him more clearly. Hmmmm he looked familiar too. Why does he look so serious. A blank stare, staring right at me. ''Sang, you're ok. Just put the gun down.''

I head the gun tighter. ''No. I I I don't want to do it again.''

''Do what?'' A man left of him asked. Tattoos rang all around his arms. Flashbacks of the man's arms. Tattoos littered his body too. It was one of the only things I could control. Looking at his tattoos while he held me down.

I held the gun tighter and instead of aiming it toward the man covered in black, the one who barged in earlier. I aimed it at the tattoo giant instead.

With the movement of the gun, the men all collectively took a step back. The tattoo giant put his hands up. ''Sang you're ok.'' he spoke again. I just glared at him. The perfect man from before spoke ''Sang look at me.'' But I wouldn't, I only looked at the tattoo man. It was silent for a while until a man with dirty red hair took a step towards me. I glanced at him only for a second.

''Sang. It's ok. I...I understand what's going on. I used to have moments like this too.''

I only stared at the tattoo man but was listening to the red-haired man. I nodded my head. I looked to him briefly, ''I don't want him here.'' l nodded my head to the tattoo giant.

Pain and sadness flashed through the tattoo giant's eyes before he nodded and slowly walked back towards the door. Once he was gone, I slowly relaxed but not fully. I put the gun down but was still holding it.

''Please Sang. Please just hand us the gun. We're not here to hurt you. You're ok.'' The perfect man said.

I didn't look at him, instead I looked toward the red hair man. He took a step closer and put his hands out. ''Give me the gun, Sang.''

I watched him with caution. I gripped the gun tighter but felt my feet moving out of the shower. My feet touch the floor tiles, coldness spread through my body. I watched the red hair man and the other man closely.

I reached for his hand but before I could I saw movement in the corner of my eye to the left of me and stepped back into the shower. Pulling the gun up towards the moving object. A man with a blonde bun looked at me with his hands held up.
