The Racing Line is a story about Olivia Perez (OC) and Max Verstappen, who have been friends since they were little kids in karting. Olivia is Checo Perez's little sister and is a Formula 1 driver for Porsche, the only woman in the grid.
OLIVIA: Born in Mexico, she left her country to race in karting since she was 9 years old, under the care of her older brother Checo who was already working his way up to Formula 1 and is eight years older than Olivia.
Olivia is known as Liv by everyone, hardly no one calls her by her actual name. She lived in Germany and then England during her karting days, going wherever Checo had to go. Because of her constant traveling to races, training, and moving to different countries, she hardly made any friends as a kid. Except for Max.
Max and Olivia became best friends since they were kids in karting, and that friendship prevailed through the years. They became inseparable once they reached Formula 1. Spending every moment together.
However there may be more to this friendship than what meets the eye. Olivia has her barriers up and does not let anyone get close enough to hurt her. The only one who may be able to tear them down may be the one person standing in front of her all long.
THE GRID:
This story is set in the 2021 season and Alfa Romeo is replaced by Porsche, although the rest of the teams and drivers remain the same. Kimi also remains in the story as Liv's teammate in Porsche.
NOTICE:
This story does contain the same OC as my previous books but is a completely different story, a completely different timeline. You do not have to read the Forbidden trilogy to understand this book.
