"Be safe, okay?" Hiro kissed his wife, Sun Hee, causing her to giggle.
Akira smiled. "We will, papa." She hugged her father.
Sun Hee and Akira then departed.
Scene: Collège Françoise DuPont.
Tom, Marinette's father, is explaining his job while Marinette stood next to him, holding a tray of croissants.
"My day begins at 4 a.m. evert morning because the bakery opens at 7. You think that the life of a baker is pretty routine, making the same pastries, rolls, cakes... but actually, it's different everyday. One day someone might order a cake in the shape of the Eiffel Tower, and another day you might-"
Scene: Outside the classroom.
Adrien attempts to call his father but was met with a voice mail.
"You'vereached the voice-mail of Gabriel Agreste's office. Please leave a message."
"Hi father, it's me. It's Parent's Career Day at school, remember? I was hoping that you were gonna show up. Call me back." Adrien frowns as he turns off his phone.
Plagg then flies out of his owner jacket. "You okay?" He asked worriedly.
Adrien walks inside the room, just as everyone claps for Tom's presentation. He sits beside his bestfriend, Nino, who places a hand on his shoulder in comfort. The blonde sighed sadly, shaking his head; indicating his father won't make it.
Meanwhile, Dillen takes notice of this and nudges his bestfriend, Akira. "You should probably check if Adrien's okay."
Akira looks at him in confusion and made eye contact with Adrien who looks to be in a bad mood. With that being said, she takes out her phone and sent him a text.
The said blonde checked his phone as he received a message.
