Scene: Eiffel Tower.
Lady Celestia swings ontop of the tower with Chat Noir following. They both land on the beam with a thud.
"Oh man! I'm beat!" The bug heroine comments, sighing.
"Hawk Moth sending Akuma's at night is truly annoying." Chat Noir says as he sits on the beam with Lady Celestia doing the same.
She nods in response. "Yeah..." She uttered out as she glanced at the view. "Paris is beautiful at night.. don't you think?"
"Just like you M'lady." Chat Noir flirts, earning a small chuckle from the ravennette.
"Well aren't you in the mood." Lady Celestia smiled softly. "But thanks. You're not too bad yourself."
Chat Noir gasped, clutching his chest. "Thee Lady Celestia calls me handsome? Am I dreaming! Someone pinch me!"
In return is partner pinched his arm, causing the cat hero to hiss/whine in pain.
"Not literally." He pouted angrily.
Lady Celestia chuckles. "Sorry sorry." She apologized.
A comfortable silence falls between them as the cold air caused their hair to flow, casting a soft glow upon them whilst they admired the view admist them.
"Do you ever feel like we're doing enough?" Lady Celestia asked.
Chat Noir glances at her with a surprised look. "What do you mean? He arched an eyebrow.
Lady Celestia sighed. "I mean… we fight. We protect Paris. We save people. But sometimes, I wonder, are we really making a difference? Akumas just keep coming, one after another. No matter how hard we fight, it never really ends." She frowned.
Chat Noir nods slowly, his expression thoughtful for a moment. "Yeah… I think about that too. It’s like, no matter what we do, there’s always another battle waiting for us." He sucked in a sharp breath. "It's exhausting."
Lady Celestia slightly hugs her knees and layed her chin on them. "Exactly. And sometimes, I wonder… what if I mess up? What if I'm not strong enough one day?"
"Hey, you’re one of the strongest people I know. And I’m not just talking about powers." Chat Noir assured her. He was hesitant to side hug her but she nods in response, making him sigh in relief.
The cat hero side hugged her whilst she layed her head on his shoulder.
"You really think so?"
"M'lady I don't just think, I know so," Chat Noir grins. "Besides, even if you ever did stumble, you wouldn’t be alone. You’ve got me, and everyone else who believes in you."
Lady Celestia smiled softly. "Thanks, kitty. That means a lot."
For a moment, they sit in silence again, the wind gently tousling their hair. Then, Chat Noir lets out a small sigh, leaning back on his hands.
