The night air was cool as Kordell's car zipped through the city, lights flashing by in a neon blur. Indigo sat in the backseat, caught between the thick tension radiatin' off the brothers. Katrell's hand rested on her thigh, steady but heavy, sendin' chills up her spine. She glanced at Kordell through the rearview, and he caught her eye, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips.
They barely said a word, but the silence was charged. Everything that happened at the club was still fresh—the dancin', the looks, the heat buildin' between them. Indigo felt like her heart was gonna beat out her chest. Kordell finally pulled up to his apartment, a sleek spot with big windows that glowed in the streetlights. She took a deep breath as they got out the car, nerves kickin' in. But Katrell offered her his hand, pullin' her out, and she felt a little steadier with his touch.
Inside, the place was fly—big ol' couches, a massive TV, and floor-to-ceiling windows showin' off the city lights. Kordell flipped on the lights, noddin' at the couch. "Y'all get comfortable," he said, his voice smooth but with a little edge that had Indigo's heart racin' again.
Katrell was already headed to the kitchen. "Anybody want a drink?" he asked.
"Yeah, I could use one," Indigo said, settlin' into the couch. She kept peepin' at Kordell, who sat down next to her, still grinnin' that laid-back smile.
Katrell came back with drinks—a glass of wine for her and whiskey for him and his brother. He handed Indigo her glass, his fingers brushin' hers, and it sent a spark through her. She took a sip, tryin' to play it cool even though she felt like her skin was on fire.
They sat there, sippin' on their drinks, the quiet between them loaded. Kordell leaned back, stretchin' his arm behind Indigo. "So, what you think about the club tonight?" he asked, his voice low.
Indigo shrugged, a little shy. "It was dope. I needed that."
Katrell grinned, takin' a sip. "You definitely did," he said, lookin' at her like he knew exactly how much fun she'd had. "Looked like you were enjoyin' yourself."
Indigo blushed, rememberin' the way he'd had his hands all over her on that dance floor. She glanced at Kordell, who chuckled. "You were havin' a real good time," he teased, his voice droppin' to a tone that had her cheeks heatin' up.
The air got thick, like they all knew where this was headed. Katrell put his glass down, facin' her with this look that made her heart skip. "We don't gotta call it a night just yet," he murmured, eyes locked on hers.
The way he said it made her pulse quicken. She looked between the two of them, both watchin' her with this intense, hungry look. Kordell slid a little closer, his hand brushin' her shoulder. "Only if you down, though," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
Indigo felt like she was on the edge of somethin' big. The tension, the pull between all of them, the way her heart was beatin' fast—it was all too much and just right at the same time. She took a deep breath, put her glass down, and looked at them both, her lips curlin' into a sly smile.
"I'm in," she said, her voice steady, but her heart racin'.
As soon as she said it, Katrell leaned in and kissed her slow, his lips warm and soft but full of promise. Indigo closed her eyes, leanin' into it, her hands slippin' up to his chest. Kordell moved behind her, his hands massagin' her shoulders, his breath warm against her ear as he whispered, "We just gettin' started."
Indigo shivered, excitement pulsin' through her veins. She didn't know what the rest of the night had in store, but one thing was for sure—she wasn't about to forget it anytime soon.
