The salon was quiet as a church on Monday after Kordell and Katrell dipped out. Indigo's staff and clients were shook, throwing nervous side-eyes and whisperin' under their breaths. Indigo knew she had to step up and calm the chaos.

She cleared her throat, commanding the room's attention. "Y'all, I'm sorry for that mess," she said, keeping her voice steady even though her insides were doing flips. "I need y'all to know, this place is safe. But we gon' close up shop for the day so I can handle this situation."

Aniyah and Jayde exchanged worried looks. "Indi, what's really goin' on?" Aniyah asked, her face tight with concern.

Indigo let out a deep sigh. "Kordell and Katrell been keepin' some secrets, and it's lookin' like they caught up in some trouble." She paused, weighing her next words. "I gotta figure out how to clean this up and make sure everybody here stays good."

Jayde reached out and touched Indigo's arm. "Whatever you need, we got you, Indi. For real."

Indigo gave her a small but grateful smile. "Thank you. That means a lot." Turning to the clients, she said, "I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but y'all's safety comes first. My staff will help y'all reschedule if needed."

The clients started gathering their things, some nodding in understanding, others low-key grumbling about their canceled appointments. Indigo knew she'd have to smooth things over later, but right now, that wasn't the priority.

Once everyone was gone, Indigo locked the door and turned back to her crew. "Aight, spill it. Do either of y'all know anything about what Kordell and Katrell been up to?"

Aniyah threw her hands up. "Indi, I swear, we don't know nothin'. They always seemed cool and about their business. This blindsided me too."

Jayde nodded. "Same here. I mean, yeah, they had their little side hustles, but I never thought it was somethin' serious like this."

Indigo ran her hand through her hair, frustration heavy on her face. "Okay. Well, we gotta figure out our next move. I can't have drama like this tied to my salon. It's bad for business—and dangerous for all of us."

Aniyah stepped closer. "Indi, we got you. Whatever you need, we in this with you."

Jayde nodded. "Ride or die, girl. You already know."

For the first time that day, Indigo felt a little relief. She knew she could count on her team, and that gave her the strength to keep pushing.

"Alright, here's the plan," Indigo said, her voice steady and focused. "First, I'mma sit down with Kordell and Katrell and get the full story. I need to know what they're mixed up in and how bad it is."

Aniyah and Jayde nodded, ready to follow her lead.

"After that, we'll figure out how to lock things down here and protect what we've built," Indigo continued. "I'm not lettin' nobody's mess tear this place apart."

The three of them stood together, solid as a rock. Whatever was comin', Indigo knew she wasn't facin' it alone. With her crew by her side, she was ready to handle business and make sure the salon came out stronger than ever.
