Chapter 15

It was heartbreaking news to say to Zizzy's little sisters, but it was going to get out eventually. They all eventually went to bed in their own rooms. Sirius was only finally able to get a full nights sleep, but she was awoken by Georgie yelling at her. "Wake up, Sirius! We need to get out of here!" Georgie yelled, shaking Sirius awake. Yawning, Sirius sat up. "What's wrong, Georgie?" Sirius asked. "An infected somehow got in! We need to leave now! I don't know where Zee and Zuzy are, but they must've already left through the vents because the vents are open." Georgie explained, his voice full of worry. Sirius quickly ran out of her room, following Georgie, KB, Mimi, Pony, and Giraffy to the front door. They were quickly followed by the infected in the building. It was a very creepy looking cyborg rat, and he was getting closer and closer to them. Without a second to think, Sirius used her magic to make the infected back away as Mimi got the door open.

They all ran out the Safe Place, shutting and locking the door tightly behind them. They all took a moment to breathe before they turned around and were met with Willow and the rest of her crew. The people in her crew were Kitty, Pandy, Felix, Katie, and Baren. However, Tigry was missing from the crew. All the girls wore gray dresses, darker gray leggings, black military boots, and a gray beanie. But the boys wore gray shirts, darker gray leggings, and black military boots. "Willow?! What are you doing here?!" Sirius asked. "Seems you all had a lovely morning!" Willow replied with attitude. "All thanks to you and Pony, my crew and I had to relocate! So, we plan to get back at you!" Willow added before looking at her crew members. "Gather them up and bring them back with us!" Willow demanded, which the other members quickly followed her orders. Sirius sparked her horn, ready to defend them, but Willow suddenly threw some powder on her horn, preventing her from using her magic. Sirius struggled and tried to fight it, but it was too strong. "What is this? What did you do to my horn?!" Sirius asked with anger. Willow scoffed, holding a small bag of the powder. "I've been waiting to use this. I've researched how to make this powder for months, and it actually works! This powder works to prevent you unicorns and alicorns from using your precious powers" Willow mocked, a smug smirk on her face. Sirius glared at Willow with pure rage. "It'll wear off soon, but it gives us enough time to take you all back with us!" Willow added.

Without being able to fight back, they had no other choice but to go with them. Once at their new base location, they led them through to go to a cell before throwing them all in. As the cell door was closed, the voice of a young girl came from a distance and approaching Willow. "Willow! I wondered where you went!" The little girl called out. "Ah, there you are, Luna. I want you to meet the new prisoners!" Willow replied to the little girl. KB's eyes widened. It couldn't be. There was no way this was real, but there was no doubt about it. Luna stepped forward, she had a similar outfit as Willow, but she had her hoodie zipped up, and she had no scarf. Luna glanced at them before her eyes landed on KB. Her eyes widened as well. "Mom...?" Luna asked, her voice trembling, tears threatening to fall down her eyes. "Luna! Oh, thank goodness you're alright!" KB replied. "Willow, please free them! That's my mother I told you about!" Luna begged Willow. "That is your mom?" Willow asked, which Luna nodded, looking up at Willow with pleading eyes. With a sigh, Willow opened the door, causing KB to rush out and pull Luna into their arms. "My baby! I thought I'd never see you again!" KB said with happy tears. Luna couldn't hold back her tears any longer, letting them fall as she hugged her mother for the first time in forever. "Mom..." Luna said happily as tears poured down her face. It was a heartwarming scene despite the current situation.

Luna decided to show KB around the place, but KB was more focused on getting the others out. "Luna, sweetheart. I'm happy you're still safe, but you can't stay with these people. They harmed one of our friends. I need you to help me get them out" KB told Luna. Luna had been loyal to Willow ever since Willow took her in back at the forest, but she trusted her mother's judgment. "Mom, Willow has kept me safe for so long. I don't want to betray her trust" Luna replied, but KB wasn't going to take no for an answer. "Luna, they're trying to help. They want to find a cure. If we could find a cure, we would be a happy family again. You would be able to see daddy again!" KB replied. Luna thought about it for a moment. What was the point of staying loyal to a woman she didn't know all that well if it meant she couldn't be with her dad. Finally, Luna gave in, giving her mother a nod. "Willow has a set of keys in her office, but there's no way she'd let you go in there. I'll go get them" Luna planned, which KB gave a proud nod.

It took a long moment until Luna returned with the keys. "Great job, sweetheart!" KB praised, giving Luna a hug and a small kiss on the forehead. Luna lead KB back to the cell. "KB!" Sirius exclaimed, but KB quickly shushed her. Luna handed KB the keys before KB quickly went through each key until they found the right one, opening the cell. They all quietly stepped out the cell, Georgie stepping over to KB and giving them a big hug. Georgie and Luna's eyes met, gazing at each other with confusion but not any negative feelings between the two. "Luna, this is Georgie. I took him in back at the mall. He'll be staying with us for a while, but he's practically family to me" KB explained. Georgie gasped with a hint of excitement. "Does that make you my sister?" Georgie asked Luna. Luna chuckled, holding Georgie's hands and spoke with a friendly smile. "Yeah. I guess that does make us siblings. Well, I guess... adopted siblings" Luna replied. "We need to get out of here!" Pony told them, which Sirius quickly spoke up. "But we have no idea how to navigate this place!" Sirius pointed out. "I do! There's an exit at the back. Follow me!" Luna said, leading them all out. Before they could all get out, Willow was quickly behind them, raising her pistol and aiming it at them. Giraffy was quick to notice, jumping in the way of the bullet as Willow fired the shot, protecting the others, but getting himself hurt in the process. "Giraffy!" Pony exclaimed, kneeling down to him. Giraffy was breathing heavily, trying to keep himself together. Sirius quickly went over to him, picking him up and carrying him on her back before they all began to run, Willow soon chasing after them.

With Luna's help, they all made it out, where Zee and Zuzy were waiting outside for them. "Zee? Zuzy? How did you find us?" Pony asked. "We escaped through the vents back at the Safe Place. We decided to follow where those people were taking all of you, and we stopped here" Zuzy explained. "Great job! But we need to get out of here-" Sirius said before she was cut off by Willow shouting from behind them, holding up her pistol at them. "Luna! How could you?! I took you in, I taught you to defend yourself, and I kept you safe!" Willow shouted at Luna, which made Luna look down. KB wrapped their arms around Luna to comfort her, yelling back at Willow. "Who do you think you are? Don't you DARE yell at my child!" KB yelled back. Willow obviously didn't care what KB had to say. Willow glanced over at Zee and Zuzy with a confused look on her face. "Who are those two?" Willow asked. With anger in his voice, Pony spoke up. "These are Zizzy's younger sisters, but you took their big sister away from them!" Pony shouted at Willow. Willow went silent. So silent and shocked that she didn't even react when Tigry knocked her pistol out of her paws with a throw of his knife from a distance. Willow fell to her knees, filled with despair and the weight of her mistake coming down on her. "I can save her..." Willow finally spoke, which the others were surprised. "I know you don't want to trust me... but I've been hearing over the radio that the military was heading north to work on a cure. I can take you there. I don't want those two to feel the same way I did when my brother... left me" Willow explained. The others didn't want to hear any of it, but Sirius was always a believer in second chances. Stepping forward to Willow, Sirius helped her back on her feet, giving her a reassuring smile. Willow smiled back before rubbing off any access powder from Sirius' horn. "Sorry about that. I truly am" Willow apologized, looking away. Sirius smiled, placing a hoof on Willow's shoulder. "Willow, you're very smart and strong. We will really need you and your help if we're going to get a cure to all of this" Sirius reassured Willow. Willow smiled, pulling Sirius into a hug. The other Silver Paw members came out, having seen just enough to know they were all allies now. Katie, the female black cat of the group, stepped forward. "I used to be a nurse. I can help your friend get better from that gunshot wound" Katie offered, which they all instantly agreed. Sirius offered Giraffy to Katie, who brought him back into the building for treatment. KB stepped forward to Willow, an impressed and grateful smile. "So, you are the one who kept my daughter safe all this time?" KB questioned, which Willow nodded. "You have a great daughter. She's a real good person, and an excellent fighter" Willow praised. Willow thought for a moment before she got an idea. "I have a boat near here! We can take it north and find the military lab to find that cure!" Willow planned. "Lead the way!" Sirius exclaimed.
