chapter 4: do what you gotta do

Y/N pov:

"Hi, dad." I sighed. Mal and Celias jaws dropped as they gasped in confusion and shock.

He took his shades off and gave me a little wave. "Quite a show yous guys put on the other day."

"Right back at ya." I replied.

He chuckled, "I was just coming to see you." 

"Really? Wonder why." I sarcastically rolled my eyes.

"Now, Y/N, don't be bitter." He laughed.

"You abandoned me when I was a baby." I accused, changing the subject.

"No. No, I left your mother. She's...she's not the easiest person to get along with." He huffed. "And, plus. She lives in Auradon. I live here."

"You still could've called." I sighed.

"Aww. Boo-hoo. Wake up and smell the stink. You think you've had it rough? I used to be a god! I had an entire world which bore my name, and now I have nothing! You have no idea what that feels like!" He yelled throwing something at me.

"Daddy please! Just give me the ember, or everything that Ive ever loved, is game over!" I begged. 

"Hold, please." He sighed.

Suddenly blue spotlights shone down into the room. "Seriously? Your going to sing right now?" I scoffed.

Hades: Listen, little girl, you're talking to a god
And I don't wanna hear the drama
Kindness ain't my brand
Y/N: Oh, I guess, that's why you ran
Hades: Try being married to your momma!

Y/N: You stink at being a dad
Hades: Poor Y/NN, are you sad?
Y/N: Not as sad as you without your powers.
I didn't come to fight, for once, do something right
Hades: I steal souls, were you expecting flowers?

Y/N: I only need you 'cause I came here for something
Hades: I've given you everything, by giving you (me) nothing

Hades: Well, you could learn a thing or two (Ooh-ooh-ooh)

Y/N: You were never there
Guess you don't have a phone
You never called to say "I miss you"

Hades: Hahaha, are you kidding?

You need to let it go
You're stronger with those daddy issues

Y/N: Oh! Thank you!

Hades: Show me some respect
It ain't easy to neglect
My attention would've made you softer

Y/N: Oohoo! Should I be proud?
Don't turn this thing around

Hades: I guess you are your father's daughter

Y/N: Don't think I need you
I just came here for something

Y/N: How 'bout you stay here
'Cause you're out of your mind!

Hades: Let's make new memories
You can show me the town

Y/N: No, you can keep your memories now

Hades: Get over it

Y/N: I am over it!

Hades: Let's dance
