3. ROOMIE.

ONCE THE DOOR OF APARTMENT 4D was opening, Liv was instantly greeted by a tight hug from her older sister. Chuckling to herself as she returned it, feeling happy for the first time in a very long time. She was then introduced to Jess' friends and roommates, as well as her own new roommate. A man Liv certainly couldn't deny, was quite easy on the eyes. Not to mention, seemed like a genuinely sweet guy, especially when he had offered to take her bags for her and show her her new home.

The following morning, Liv woke up feeling refreshed. Although she was in an unfamiliar room. The guest room in Danny's house was very simple looking, with nothing indicating it belonged to one specific person, it made her feel much more at ease than her own bedroom that she shared with her ex-fiancé had.

After showering and getting ready for the day ahead – she had plans of sending out her CV and Jess was to take her around, showing her the places nearby – Liv made her way out of the room and into the living room adjacent kitchen. Her heels clacking on the wooden floorboards stopped suddenly when her eyes landed on the back of Danny.

He was standing in front of the open fridge, wearing nothing but his underwear. As soon as he heard her footsteps, he jumped, turning around and staring at her with the widest eyes she'd ever seen.

"O-Oh, I'm so sorry!" She told him, looking away as she felt heat spreading up her neck and through her cheeks.

Danny slammed the fridge shut, shaking his head, "I'm sorry, I completely forgot I wasn't alone," He told her, smiling sheepishly as he reached over to grab the blanket off of the couch and wrapped it around his waist, "I'm gonna go change."

Liv shook her head, waving her hand nonchalantly as she heard his steps nearing so he could walk past her towards his bedroom, "Don't worry about it..." She said, laughing nervously as she looked up at him. Even in her heels he still towered over her, she tried her best not to let her eyes wander down his exposed chest, especially after spotting a few tattoos littered across his toned body, "...It's your apartment after all. I'm on my way out, anyway," She said, stepping past him, silently hoping that he wouldn't have spotted how red her cheeks had become.

But before she could reach the door, Danny called her name.

She stopped and turned back to face him, raising a brow and tilting her head slightly. He was standing at the opening of the corridor, shaking his head slightly as he sent her a friendly smile.

"Our apartment," He corrected her. Danny sent her a pointed look when she opened her mouth, most likely going to disagree with him. A smile appearing on his lips, showing off the dimples on both of his bearded cheeks.

Liv sighed, a soft smile gracing her lips as she let herself nod, tasting the words on her lips, "Our apartment," She confirmed, earning a large grin from the man.

"Exactly," He nodded, his smile so infectious that Liv found herself grinning as well, "Have a good day, I'll see you later, roomie."

She nodded, biting her bottom lip, "You too, roomie," She said, before finally leaving the apartment. As soon as she closed the door, she leaned her back against it, letting out a shaky exhale, "What a morning."
