Chapter 6.) The ripped portrait.

Ethans POV:

I feel a sudden change in my vision and thoughts and snap back into reality. Im leaning against a wall and feel a stinging pain on my lip and my right eye.
I grunt a bit feeling a big headache in my head before i notice a person who's in REAL pain. Victors kneeling on the floor a sharp object sticking out of his leg while blood drips down his leg and onto the floor.

I see blessings covering the wound and putting pressure on it as he's using magic against Noah. {Noah that name....} Flashbacks rush through my mind as i flinch at reality. They're fighting, fighting for me...I haven't realized how badly I was in trouble and what people can do to me. I really feel shame but i dont let it take over me.

"N-NO Please. Let me go I'm so sorry!! I just wanted someone to love me like HE did...Ethan looked just like him i deeply apologize dont kill me." Noah struggled to say while being chocked by Victors shadow.

Before anything continues the door slams open. The principal walks in and shouts.

"MY OFICE NOW."

Victor releases Noah and looks directly at me. He pulls me into a tight hug and i can feel his heartbeat racing and his body shaking.

"E-Ethan...Is everything alright?! A-are you ok??" He says crying into my shirt his hands tangled in my hair while he stares at me with his watery eyes.

I instantly pick him up out of his state.

"Your the one who's not. Let's get you bandaged up the nurses office is next door, okay?" I smile as i hold him in my arms my own eyes watering as i notice these two really care for me.

I waste no more time and speed up my pace as we walk towards the office.

After he gets bandaged up we all sit in her office silence filling the room before Victor speaks up and spills out everything that's happened these past few days.

Hours pass until we get the news that Noah is officially getting expelled for doing illegal casting spells on other students as well in the past. We finally get released late at night but Victor ended up getting a three day in school suspension for causing a large amount of damage to Noah for using strong magic against him.

I walk blessings to her dorm giving her a huge hug once we gotten to her door.

"Thank you so much Blessings for today. I can't believe i have such good friends like you two and god...I never thought i had to see Victor is such a state id better get back to him." I say with my hand on her shoulder.

"Victor did so much for you Ethan you should definitely catch up to him. He really values you and likes you. I mean if i had someone fighting for me like that then id call it love." She says, teasing on the last part.

"Hah, okay Blessings that's it.." I say slowly looking at her with the look. I feel her hit my shoulder back and a big smile appears on her face.

"Ill let you go, make sure to take care of your wound and Victor. Ive got so much to tell you, hit me up okay?" She says waving.

Once I enter my dorm I see Victor sleeping on the couch with his legs rested as they should. I make some soup as well as a hot wet towel and some ointment.
I lay it out on the coffee table and take a seat at the end of the couch watching him sleep peacefully. "I can't believe he did all of that for me.." I say tearing up. I havent had a best friend or anyone who's protected me cared for me or loved me this much, in YEARS.

I hear a yawn as i turn my attention to victor.

"How did you sleep my hero? I made you some soup love, but really thank you for everything your such a hero. My hero. Im so grateful for you Victor Cadel." I say brushing his hair behind his ear.

"AWWH thank you so much! You know i really missed you Ethan. Im so happy i could save you. I had to, my heart chose to." He says grabbing the soup and blowing it out.

I look up at him smiling. I get up grabbing a hair tie from the table and brush out his hair from behind the couch. I tie it up into a half up half down pony and smile while doing so.

"Haha dont make me look like a troll Ethan!!" Victor says laughing, he sings move your feet, while tapping his fingers on the glass bowl. I roll my eyes yet break into a laugh.

"Sing it Victor!!~" I say humming along with him.

Hours pass of singing, laughing, Victors corny jokes that i enjoy, and a movie that's now playing. It's currently 2am and I've already applied all of the medicine on his wound.

I lean my head against the wall while grunting a bit at the pain from my lip. Suddenly victor grabs the ointment that i had given him earlier.

"Hm.. reading this it says its a pain killer and it can work for cuts anywhere on the lips too. Here maybe this'll work." He climbs on my lap facing me, slowly pulling himself carefully onto me. His left hand pressed against my shoulder, he rubs it on his finger and rubs it on my lip gently. My breaths get heavier because of how close we are. I look him up and down uncontrollably. My breaths hitching and my heartbeat skipping beats.

He smiles biting his lip slightly while glancing back at me.

"Let me help you with your eye too." He says tucking my hair behind my ear. I feel warmth filling my body and I notice I'm starting to blush out of control. {Mhh...why here why right now. He makes me go insane..} I havent forgotten this feeling at all. The feeling i get whenever a situation like this happens between me and Victor. I hold back any grunts as i feel a hot towel on my face.

"It's okay you can feel the pain okay? hold my hand." He says holding out his right hand as his left hand is pressing the wet towel against my eye. I grab onto his hand locking it with mine.

"Your so brave and so strong Victor. How do you do it?"

"See I dont usually do stuff like this, not even for myself. I've come from a very horrible birth family. Everyone had hated me and did stuff to me to physically hurt me as well as emotionally abused me. I never cared I just let it hurt. They actually gave me away and I became a foster. I got adopted by this family that's way different then my birth family, they care and taught me things I never knew, ever since I've been..well me!!" Before he finishes I pull him into a hug.

"Victor ill always be here to have your back, I promise. You'll never have to go through it again. Ill be by your side. I want to." I say burying my head in his neck.

"Wow. Your such a sweetheart and talk about physical touch today?!" He says running his hands through my silky, dirty blonde hair.

"I Really like it from you." I say looking up at him. I notice his beautiful grey eyes and his birthmark as well his red horns. I pay more attention to the birthmark and it stands out the most..My eyes widen as I gently carry him in my arms to my room. I place him on my bed and dig through things before finding a ripped photo.

"Victor Cadel..are you my Childhood Bestfriend?!"
