I woke up and heard my phone beeping.

It says that I have 17 missed calls.

I called the unknown number back.

"Hello Emma" A man hissed into the phone.

"Dad!?" Emma growled

"Yes Emma its me"

"What do you want?!?!"

"Calm down. I wanted to tell you something important."

"Why should I listen to anything you say?"

"It includes your friends"

"What?"

"Jay and Troy"

"What about them! How do you know their names?!"

"They work for me. They're vampires Emma."

"Whatever. You would do anything to freak me out. You already killed my family. I want nothing to do with you!!"

"I'm not lying Emma. I didn't want to hurt you thats why I left. I didn't like seeing you cry.

"Don't talk to me anymore!!"

I hung up the phone and hurried to get dressed.

Jayla's POV

I was on the phone talking to troy.

Him: Hey I won't be able to see you for awhile.

Me: why?

Him: Work

Me: you are only 20. You shouldn't have a job that's taking your life away.

Him: Sorry babe but I have to move to canada for 3 years.

Me: Why don't you blow it off

I was getting really pissed off because I knew he was getting mad at me. He shouldn't have to leave. He shouldn't be getting mad at me either. I'll miss him and he knows it.

Him: Jayla! This isn't about you is it!

Me: no but-

Him: No buts I want to be successful and you won't stop me from trying.

Me: Okay whatever.

Him: Don't be mad

Me: You know what Troy I will be mad because I know that when you leave I will be heartbroken and I'd rather be mad then sad.

Him: I'm sorry. Don't cry

Me: No troy we are over!!!

I hung the phone up and cried to myself on the bed.

Lauren came into my room

Lauren: Jayla what's wrong!?

Me: Troy broke up with me

Lauren: Oh my gosh

Me: actually I broke up with him

Lauren: Why?

Me: He was getting mad at me for being mad at him

Lauren: what?

Me: He is moving to Canada for work and I was mad and he got mad at me because I said to blow it off
