As a kid Maggie and Finneas noticed billie twitching frequently they payed no attention to it at first but as the ticks became worse and sometimes went on for hours they decided its best to take billie to a specialist to get it checked out.

Finneas billies older brother went to tell billie that they booked her an appointment about her twitches. Billie wasn't happy about this at all. This information caused her to get annoyed and angry. This cause her to start moving her head to the side and rolling her eyes back. With these twitches all at once billie started humming which was once of her twitches this cause her to start panicking because she had never had this twitch before. And as she panicked they became worse resulting in a tic attack. Billies attack lasted for about 40 minutes with Finneas being by her side throughout it.
Billie still hasn't found ways to calm down her twitches and she finally agreed to go to the doctor.

As Billie sat in the Tourette specialist's office, surrounded by soothing colours and gentle music, she felt a mix of nerves and hope swirling within her. The specialist, a kind and understanding individual, greeted Billie warmly, acknowledging the courage it took for her to seek help. With a reassuring smile, the specialist began the session by asking Billie to share her experiences and the challenges she faced with her developing Tourette's.

Listening intently, the specialist validated Billie's feelings and assured her that she was in a safe space where her concerns would be heard and addressed. Together, they discussed the various tics Billie experienced and how they impacted her daily life. The specialist explained the nature of Tourette's syndrome, emphasizing that it was a neurological condition that could be managed with the right tools and support.

With compassion and expertise, the specialist worked with Billie to explore relaxation techniques, mindfulness exercises, and strategies to calm her tics during stressful moments. Through their conversations and collaborative efforts, Billie began to feel empowered and hopeful, knowing that she was not alone in her journey to navigate Tourette's. The specialist's words of encouragement and guidance echoed in Billie's mind, inspiring her to face the challenges ahead with resilience and determination.
Once the session was over billie and her mother went home and discussed with Finneas how the session went and what she was diagnosed with. Billie tells Finneas that she has Tourette's and there is no cure for it to be fixed and that she has to find ways to relax and find certain things that help calm the tics down.
With this throughout the next month billie, Maggie and finneas all worked together to find what works best to help calm down billies tics.
With this they found out music helps, singing helps, smelling essential oil is a big thing because it distracts her brain. With these new out comes billie feels better and now knows she doesn't have to be ashamed of her Tourette's as she can't help it and her movements are uncontrollable.
