The Weasley's were going to Paris because Arthur got free tickets to the Paris 1994 OL, The tickets cost like 10,000 dollars so they could sell them but they chose to go. Arthur also got a huge pay from his job so they had enough money, The tickets were VIP which meant that the Weasley's could have a meet-and-great with one of the teams

Of course The Weasley's were ecstatic when Arthur came home that night with the news that they were going to Paris with VIP passes to the Olympics. The news has everyone excited. Molly immediately started to sort out the travel and clothing for the 8 of them. Percy started gathering a variety of things to take with them, Ginny was counting the days until they left and the twins got to work planning pranks.

They got to watch every OL and meet anyone they wanted, they got onto a plane. The plane was free due to their VIP tickets

Everybody was packed into a single cabin. The twins and Ginny trying to look at the outside of the window while Ron was stuffing his face with snacks that their mother brought. Percy was reading a book, looking very uncomfortable from sitting right beside Arthur, who was watching excitedly as the plane took off.

Once the plane was in the air, Molly's kids instantly got up and began wandering around the plane. Percy followed quickly behind them to make sure they didn't do anything to get kicked off the plane. Molly was still stuck in her seat beside her husband. Arthur sat there, looking around the cabin with interest. Molly stayed sat looking sick. Ron, however, was stuffing his face with whatever snacks he could find. Fred and Ginny kept wandering around giggling, and looking out the windows.

Arthur, Molly and Percy sat in a seat with each other, Bill, Ginny and Charlie sat together while Fred and George sat alone

Percy was sat between his parents. Their father was happily watching out of the window, while their mother tried to calm herself down. The twins were sat together, of course, snickering to each other. Meanwhile, Bill, Charlie, and Ginny sat together talking excitedly about going to a different country, and what they wanted to see or do in Paris.

Ron was absolutely enthralled when he found the drink menu. Without missing a beat, the young Weasley called over a flight attendant and began to order every single drink on the menu. Fred and George found it hilarious and joined in. Percy, on the other hand, was not impressed. He was attempting to wrangle his younger brothers back into their seats.

Arthur's interest was piqued when he saw the free alcohol. He began to read through the menu trying to decide which beverages to try. Molly's eyes widened when she saw the drink he was holding, she knew from experience that her husband wouldn't be able to hold his liquor at all and he'd be wasted by the time they landed in Paris

By the time they landed, Arthur was wasted as hell. Stumbling thru the French airport

Molly was helping Arthur up as they got into the airport, she's struggling to hold him in place as the rest of the kids watched with a mixture of horror and amusement. He was a mess to say the very least, stumbling and slurring his words. His face was red as he tried to follow his wife to the VIP car that was waiting for them outside.

Of course, the last thing the Weasley's wanted was to squeeze all 8 of them into a 7 seater car. Molly, Bill, and Percy looked like they'd already decided that Ron and Ginny could share their laps in the back of the car. Charlie rolled his eyes and quickly spoke up.
