Remus was very protective of his little bunny. He knew Teddy could defend himself and that Teddy didn't like being seen as "Fragile", but Remus was a father. Teddy would always be his small, cute, adorable, little bunny. Remus knew Teddy didn't need his help anymore, but that didn't change the fact that Remus would love him all the same.

Currently, Remus was looking over some paper work while he sat on the couch. He wasn't much of a paperwork kind of person, but he didn't hate doing it

Teddy came home from work in his Doctor uniform, he was still living at home with Remus and hadn't had time to date anyone due to his studies and work

Remus was still sitting on the couch when Teddy walked in. He looked up and smiled. He always found Teddy in his Doctor uniform adorable. Especially with his glasses on, it made him look so mature and professional..

"Hey, Cub! You're home early today."

Remus put the paperwork down, getting up and walking over to Teddy

"Hey, dad" He says, sitting down

Remus walked over and sat down next to Teddy, wrapping an arm around his shoulders

"How was work? Anything new or interesting today?"

Remus had noticed that Teddy had been stressed recently with the work, and he wanted to spend some time with his baby boy

"Well, some interesting patients" He says

"Oh, really? What kinda of patients?"

Remus asked. He was always interested in what Teddy's day at work was like. He loved spending time with his little bunny, and he always found it so cute when Teddy talked about his work

"Well, I currently have about 4 patients. I have this 3 year old patient with Cerebral malaria" Teddy says, he loved talking about his work and patients

Remus was listening intently while Teddy spoke. He was paying careful attention to everything the bunny said

"A 3 year old? That's a pretty young kid"

He said quietly, frowning slightly in worry. Remus didn't like it when kids got sick. In fact, he hated it. He knew he was overprotective, but there was nothing he could do to change that

"He's really cute" Teddy says

Remus smiled softly as Teddy spoke. He always found it adorable when Teddy talked about his patients

"Is he? What's his name?"

Remus asked, smiling still

"His name is Damien" Teddy says

Remus could imagine a cute little kid named Damien. He smiled at the thought of the small child

"That's a cute name and a cute kid. I bet you love him, don't you?"

He teased, jokingly

A few days later, Teddy went to work every day and worked a lot of overtime. Remus started getting a bit pain in his testicles

Remus had originally ignored the pain. Thinking it wasn't anything to worry about and that it would go away soon. But, as days passed the pain had only grown much worse. Remus knew he should go see someone about the pain, but he was stubborn. He would've tried to ignore it even longer, if Teddy hadn't come in one day to see him on the couch holding his crotch
