Y/n pov:
The taxi ride from the airport to the villa was filled with a mixture of excitement and nervous anticipation. As we pulled up in front of the charming villa, I felt a flutter of anxiety in my chest. I was excited to see Jobe again but nervous about meeting Trent, who was basically a stranger to me.
Jude noticed my apprehension and gently squeezed my hand. "You got this beautiful, don't need to be nervous. You have already meet jobe and Trent is over the moon to finally meet you".
I nodded, trying to calm my racing heart. Sofia and Vini had already started unloading the suitcases, chatting animatedly about their plans for the day. I took a deep breath as Jude led me towards the villa.
As we stepped inside, the cool, welcoming air of the villa enveloped us. The spacious living area opened up to a stunning view of the private pool and lush garden. I barely had time to take it all in when Jobe appeared, his face lighting up as he saw me.
"Y/n!" he exclaimed, hurrying over to give me a warm hug. "I missed you!"
I hugged him back, feeling a wave of relief wash over me "I missed you too, Jobe."
He pulled back and gave me a playful grin. "I hope my brother hasn't messed things up too much."
I laughed, feeling more at ease. "He's been pretty good so far."
Just then, a tall figure emerged from the hallway. Trent, with a friendly smile and an easy demeanor, walked over and extended his hand. "Hi, you must be Y/n. I'm Trent."
I shook his hand, feeling a bit of my nervousness dissipate. "Nice to meet you, Trent. I've heard a lot about you."
"All good things, I hope," he said with a wink.
"Mostly," I teased, glancing at Jude, who chuckled.
"Don't listen to them, Trent. They're just jealous," Jude said, pulling me closer.
Trent laughed. "Well, I'll try to live up to whatever expectations they've set."
As we settled into the living area, where Sofia and Vini were already making themselves comfortable, I couldn't help but feel more at ease. The villa's relaxed atmosphere and the friendly banter between everyone made me feel welcome.
Sofia looked up and smiled. "So, what's the plan for the evening?"
"I was thinking we could have a barbecue by the pool," Jude suggested. "What do you guys think?"
"Sounds perfect," Jobe said, already heading towards the kitchen. "I'll get started on the prep."
"I'll help," Trent offered, following Jobe.
I watched them go, feeling a mix of relief and gratitude. I turned to Sofia. "They seem really nice."
"They are," Sofia agreed. "Now, let's find you a swimsuit and get you ready for the pool."
After changing into my swimsuit and grabbing a towel, I made my way back to the pool area. I found Trent already setting up the grill, humming to himself as he worked.
I took a seat nearby, watching him for a moment before speaking. "So, how long have you known Jude?"
Trent looked up, smiling. "We've been friends for a few years now. Met through mutual friends in the football world. He's a good guy."
"He is," I agreed, my eyes drifting to where Jude was laughing with Vini by the pool. "Thanks for being so welcoming."
Trent waved a hand dismissively. "Of course. Anyone important to Jude is important to me. Plus, it's nice to have some new company."
