Y/n pov:

It was Christmas Eve, and I was sitting at home alone, waiting for Jude to pick me up, the quiet hum of holiday music filling the background.

I had spent the entire day wrapping gifts, decorating her apartment, and watching Christmas movies, but there was an emptiness hanging in the air without my family by my side. For the first time we won't celebrate Christmas together.

Suddenly, my phone buzzed.

Jude:❤️
I'm waiting😍

Me
Be there in a sec! 😘

Jude❤️:
Can't wait to see ya!

My heart skipped a beat. I jumped up from the couch, grabbing my coat, scarf and the gifts.

As I opened the door, I was met by the sight of Jude standing outside, leaning against his car, hands casually in his pockets, dressed in a warm jacket and jeans.

The headlights from the car illuminated him like something out of a Christmas romance movie, the snow lightly falling around him.

I stepped out, a huge smile spreading across my face. "well if this isn't jude bellingham, without a taxi"

Jude grinned kissing my lips “Thought I’d play chauffeur tonight. Got my driver’s license now, remember?”

I laughed, shaking my head. “I almost forgot. So, where are we going, driver?”

He opened the car door for me with a mock-bow. “Hop in, miss. Your chariot awaits.”

I giggled, climbing into the passenger seat, and Jude shut the door behind me before jogging around to the driver’s side.

As he got in, I glanced over at him, excitement bubbling up inside me. “Is this a secret Christmas surprise?”

“Something like that,” Jude said with a wink, turning the engine on and pulling away from the curb. “You’ll see.”

The drive through the snowy streets of Madrid felt magical, the city lights twinkling like stars. I couldn’t help but steal glances at Jude as he focused on the road, his hand occasionally resting on the gear shift.

He looked effortlessly handsome, his jawline sharp and his dark eyes twinkling with amusement. It felt surreal, just last year, I never would have imagined spending Christmas Eve with someone who made me feel this way.

After a short while, we pulled up to Jude’s house, which was glowing warmly with Christmas lights. There were festive decorations strung across the front porch, and a wreath hung on the front door. I felt a wave of warmth and happiness wash over me as we parked.

“Jobe and Mark are here, right?” I asked, already feeling happy.

Jude nodded, leaning over to give me a quick kiss on the cheek. “Yeah, and my mom’s been asking about you all day. But don’t worry, everything’s going to be perfect.”

I felt a flutter in my chest as Jude got out and came around to open my door. He took my hand as we walked up to the house together, and I couldn’t help but think how perfect this night already felt.

Jude had a way of making everything seem easy, like there wasn’t a thing in the world that could go wrong when we were together.

The moment we stepped inside, we were greeted by the delicious smell of roasting turkey and the warmth of the fireplace. Denise was in the kitchen, her back turned as she prepared something, and Jobe was sprawled out on the couch, half-asleep.
