Netherland 10th September 2023
Y/n pov:
The morning light streamed through the curtains, gently pulling me from sleep. As I opened my eyes, the events of yesterday came rushing back to me like a flood. The tulip fields, the picnic, the way Jude asked me to be his girlfriend—it all felt like a dream. But the warmth of his hand in mine as we walked back to the villa last night was proof that it was real. We were together now, officially.
I stretched in bed, a small smile playing on my lips as I thought about what today might bring. Being in a new relationship felt a bit like stepping into a whole new world—one where everything felt heightened, from the way I noticed every little thing about Jude, to how my heart fluttered just at the thought of him.
I got up, throwing on some comfortable clothes—a pair of shorts and a light sweater—and headed downstairs, the smell of breakfast already wafting through the air. As I entered the kitchen, I found Trent and Jobe already at the table, digging into what looked like a feast. Sofia and Vini were busy cooking, while Jude was leaning against the counter, sipping on a cup of coffee.
The moment he saw me, his face lit up with a smile, and I felt my cheeks warm under his gaze. “Morning,” he greeted, his voice soft yet filled with warmth.
“Morning,” I replied, suddenly feeling a bit shy as I walked over to grab a cup of tea.
Before I could even take a sip, Sofia rushed over, practically bouncing with excitement. “Y/n, Y/n! We were thinking about what to do today, because today is our last day we had some awesome ideas. How do you feel about hitting the beach? We can swim, play volleyball, maybe even rent some jet skis!”
“ what! Today is thw last day. Time flew by. But anway that sounds amazing,” I said, genuinely excited but still disappointed to leave Netherland.
But still I’d been craving some time in the sun, and the beach sounded like the perfect way to spend the day. But as soon as I agreed, I felt a wave of nervousness wash over me.
This would be our first day out as an official couple, and I wasn’t sure how to act around Jude now. Should I hold his hand all the time? Would it be weird if I didn’t?
Vini must have noticed my hesitance because he shot me a knowing look. “Don’t worry, Y/n. We’ll make sure it’s a day to remember.”
Jude chuckled, placing his cup down and walking over to me. “Yeah, no need to stress. We’re just going to have fun.”
His words, along with the reassuring smile he gave me, helped calm my nerves a bit. I returned his smile, feeling more at ease as he reached out and took my hand, giving it a gentle squeeze.
“Alright, breakfast first, then we’ll head out,” Trent announced, already stacking his plate high with food.
We all sat down to eat, the conversation flowing easily as we discussed our plans for the day. Every now and then, Jude’s knee would brush against mine under the table, sending tiny sparks up my spine. I tried to focus on the food, but all I could think about was how close he was, how his hand still lingered on mine whenever it could.
Sofia, ever the observant one, seemed to notice everything. She kept throwing me these cheeky smiles, clearly enjoying my flustered state. At one point, she even kicked me lightly under the table and wiggled her eyebrows when Jude wasn’t looking, making me giggle despite myself.
After breakfast, we all headed back to our rooms to change for the beach. I rifled through my suitcase, trying to decide what to wear. I wanted to look cute but not like I was trying too hard. Eventually, I settled on a light blue bikini with a simple white cover-up.
