With a lot of blood tears and hugs, Celeste finally manages to leave you with Luis.

The white haired vampire seems to be excited about having you live with him as if it wasn't a burden.

After two days you finally decided to ask him a curious question.

"Why are you being so creepy?"

This might seem like a rude question, but it's justified for him because Luis is acting like he has known you for years.

"I'm not being creepy, I'm just happy that you are here, you remind me of my daughter"

Hearing this, made your doubts lessen, now coming to the realization why he is acting this way towards you.

You stay silent not speaking any further, as you eat your meal.

"Are you not going to ask me where she is right now?"

You pause, fork halfway to your mouth, and look up at Luis. "Where is who?" you ask, feigning ignorance.

Luis sighs softly, a sad smile playing at the corners of his lips.

"Your lookalike, the daughter I once had"

You stay silent, a knot forming in your throat.

The guilt of not asking hit you, but you didn't know how to approach the subject.

"She ran away from me many years ago, I never saw her again. I always hoped she survived, that she was living her life, but again, she was a human"

The light haired vampire gives you a sad smile.

"And then, I see you, and the resemblance is uncanny, it's like she came back to me."

You chew slowly, swallowing before speaking.

"I'm sorry for your loss."

Luis nods, his expression darkening.

"Thank you, I have regretted not being able to be by her side"

"If may I ask, why did she run away?"

Luis looked away for a moment, clearly troubled by the memory.

"She was unhappy, felt trapped. I tried to explain to her that she was safe with me, but she didn't see it that way, he wanted to continue living as a human, to be free."

All the sympathy you had for Luis is gone once you realize he is like your adoptive parents.

"She is right to do so, I mean nobody wants to be treated like a toy"

Luis experission completely changes at your words, finding them insulting.

"Your parents clearly lacked the ability to teach you good manners"

Now that you see Luis for what he truly is, you smirk, tilting your head.

"But sir, my adoptive parents taught me to always tell the truth or I will be punished"

Luis's eyes narrowed, a hint of anger in his voice.

"What you're saying is disrespectful, (Y/n), you should be grateful for the kindness I'm showing you, not insulting me like this."

You held your ground, unmoved by his anger.

"I'm just stating facts, Luis. My adoptive parents and you are no different. You both took me and your daughter in, raised us, and treated us like a possession, we're not thankful, we were just surviving."

Luis's face turned red with fury, but he soon composed himself.

"You ungrateful child, I'll not have you speaking ill of my daughter, she was a kind, sweet girl, and mostly definitely intelligent, unlike you."

The insult hit hard, but it only fueled your resolve.

"She is intelligent for running away"

If you think that Achilles is the most horrible father in existence.

Then you definitely don't know what you are getting yourself into with Luis.
