So, as I'm sure most of you know, I am Autistic. A lot of people don't know that ASD stands for Autism Spectrum Disorder. Every disorder is a spectrum. Dyslexia, Autism, etc.
I get made fun of a lot because I don't fit the category of what people think is "normal".
I actually went to a school specifically for Autistic kids, but I'll get into that later.

Onto the things that bother me!
#1: Loud noises. I have sensitive ears, so I can't stand loud noises or music. The few times that I've gone to a school dance, I hated it. Like, WHY DOES THE MUSIC HAVE TO BE SO LOUD!? EVEN WITH HEADPHONES ON IT'S LOUD AS FUCK! I Googled it, but all it gave me was articles on why people hate it. So, if you guys can give me an answer I'd really appreciate it. I feel like my sensitivity for loud noises has gotten worse over time, because when I was a little kid, it took a police siren to get me overstimulated. But now, even something falling on the floor makes me flinch.
#2: Big crowds. I feel like a lot of people relate to this one, but I do not like crowds. I rarely, if ever, go to a fare or amusement park because of the crowds. When I was little, me and my mom went to a Halloween festival thing, and I got a bit overstimulated, so I asked my mom if we could go home. So we went home and I was happy the rest of the day.
#3: Sensories. Again, I feel like a lot of people can relate to this, but I still wanna talk about it. I don't like the textures of some foods. They make me gag or just not wanna eat it. I also can't stand having my hands be wet. It's ok if I'm taking a shower or in the pool or something like that, but if I'm washing my hands, or doing the dishes, I hate it. My mom gives me a pass on not doing the dishes but I still have to wash my hands, 'cause, well...c'mon, it's basic hygiene. I also can't stand the texture of soap bars. Y'know those bar of soaps in hotels? Yeah, I CAN'T STAND THOSE. They feel all slimy and gross. Ironically, I don't hate slime. I hate Play-doh Slime, 'cause it's all watery, but I don't hate regular slime.
