"I'm jealous"

Heejin froze. Jealous? Was he crazy? Maybe he did drink. Her eyes hesitantly locked with his that were pouring with lust.

"If you were dying to kiss someone that badly you should've just asked me"

The words left his mouth as if they had been resting there caged for decades.

Jake opened his door swiftly, leaving Heejin to marinate in his bewildering words. She grimaced as she watched him walk around the front of the car towards her side. Before he could get there she opened the door and quickly stepped out, closing it briskly.

Her mortified face was only a pleasure to Jake. Heejin swallowed the lump in her throat and made her way to her own drive. She pulled out her house keys and stuck them in.

"And Heejin"

The distracted girl snapped her head to the boy whose voice was calling out to her.

"You looked pretty-" Jake shook his head correcting himself "look pretty today"

He winked before entering his own house trapping the Lee girl once again with his overly convincing words. He was joking, right?

Jake entered his house, the smile that was prior on his face immediately wiping off once the image of Sunghoon's lips against Heejin's replayed in his mind. Words couldn't describe his anger towards the boy. How dare he? Even if it was imperative for them to kiss surely a peck would've been sufficient- eating her face off was not necessarily.

He laid on his bed staring at the ceiling as thoughts consumed him. What was Sunghoon playing at? Why was he acting differently? Although he had always been a little against Jake being too mean to Heejin, Sunghoon was never this held up on her. He thought about the argument that had occurred at the party after the kiss.

FLASHBACK:

Jake marched up to Sunghoon when he saw him on his own on the couch. The Park boy was resting his hand on his head while zoning off. His cheeks were pink but Jake knew it wasn't from alcohol.

"What the fuck was that earlier?"

The Sim boy spat out, eyes burning holes into his friend.

Sunghoon broke away from his daze and looked up at Jake. His head tilted and eyebrows drew together.

"What are you talking ab-"

The angered boy cut him off, fury running through his veins.

"Kissing Heejin? Or no no" he bitterly chuckled to himself "eating her face off?"

Sunghoon broke into a small smile as he thought about the moment again. Heejin's sweet lips pressed against his own. A dream. Fingers clicked in front of him and he shook his head looking back up at Jake again.

"What about it?"

Sunghoon questioned nonchalantly.

Jake huffed staring down at him in awe before licking his lips and responding.

"What about it!? I don't know maybe it's a little weird considering you've never even had a conversation on your own with her and now you guys are making out with a crowd?!"
