The Fox and the Rabbit!

Chapter 11

Fox, Rabbit, Goose, Divine and Robin all went to the party that was being thrown by V at her home. Since this wasn't a mission, they all decided to not wear their masks and hoods. Once they arrived, they tied up their horses in V's designated corral and then went into her bar. Rabbit looked around to see who all was here and her eyes fell upon V instantly. Rabbit ran over to V, who was behind the bar, and she sat on the nearest stool.
"Hey pretty lady, something strong for me please!" Rabbit spoke in a low tone in a jokingly matter causing V to turn around with an eyebrow raised until she saw who was speaking.
"Oh anything for you sweetheart!" V chuckles as she pours a dark brown liquid in a ice cold glass.
Fox walks up behind Rabbit and wraps his arms around her shoulders and plants a little kiss upon her cheek. V hands the glass to Rabbit and then starts on another drink for someone else.
"So what will it be Fox boy?" V asks in a teasing tone.
"Whatever you recommend!" Fox Sits on the stool next to Rabbit and then lightly places his hand upon her knee.
V nods and gets him a glass of the same thing that Rabbit is drinking. Rabbit downs her drink and lets out a large sigh of relief as if she really needed that. Fox raises an eyebrow at her and then chuckles. He remembers the last time she was drunk, she was quite the entertainment. But he did know to keep an eye on her as she can get quite flirtatious with anyone when drunk.
Last time she almost convinced Raven to go to bed with her, until Lion stopped them. Fox even tried to sway her his way that night, though he knows she would have regretted it since she was shit faced that night.
Fox starts rubbing small circles on her lower back to comfort her. Rabbit looks up and smiles at him, then leans her head on his shoulder.
"So you two seem very chummy together!" V teases them as she hands Fox his drink and gives Rabbit a new one.
Fox and Rabbit look at each other and they both blush a little at the same time. Goose hops up on the stool next to them and smiles at V as Divine slowly walks up behind him and leans over onto the counter.
"Oh they fucked!" Goose blurts out.
Fox instantly turns towards Goose and smacks him on the back of the head. Goose puts his hands up, palms facing fox and backs down a little in apology.
"Oh! So that is why you ran off so quickly last time you were here!" V gives Fox a sly grin knowing based on his reaction after he saw how Varg treated Rabbit that he obviously took her to make his mark on her.

As the night went on, Rabbit was already down a whole bottle and basically gone. Fox was pacing himself, he wanted to make sure he could keep himself close to sober so he can keep an eye on Rabbit. A couple times through the night he would find her dancing in the middle of the room, or sometimes almost stripping her clothes off.
A couple of Fox's old friends were at this party too and some of them encouraged her actions. Danced with her or playing games with her to get her to do some provocative things.
Fox did his best to not seem like a sour puss when it came to Rabbits fun. He wanted her to let loose and be herself. Sometimes he would stay close to her until someone would distract him.
One moment she is sitting on his lap, the next thing is Goose would say something and she would be gone. Fox looked around, wondering where she ran off to in a quick moment. Fox quickly stood up and searched the room, looking for that iconic pink hair.
Suddenly he catches a whisp of pink in the corner of his eye near the door. That's when he noticed that Rabbit was walking out the main door with someone, a very large red skinned someone.
Fox runs towards the two of them and tries to catch up, but as he leaves the door the two of them are nowhere to be seen. Fox freaks out, not sure what to do. He starts to hyperventilate and look around furiously, worried what is going to happen. Fox runs back to Goose in pure panic.
"Hey I'm going to try to go find Rabbit, she's ran off. Go back to the compound just in case she comes back there!" Fox says quickly before shooting out of the building and jumping onto his horse.

About Seven hours later, it was close to midnight and Fox was sitting on the edge of the wall to the compound. He knew he should have asked V if she knew where Varg lived before he left but he just was running on pure fear and adrenaline that it didn't come to mind.
A small light appears in the distance behind the trees and Fox sits up straight as soon as he noticed. Walking very sluggishly towards the gate was Rabbit, she looked still very out of it from the distance he was sitting. Fox rushed down the stairs and met her outside the gates.
Rabbit instantly collapsed into his arms, her face stained with tears. Fox pulled her into his arms holding her head on his chest. Her body started to shake the moment his fingers touched her body. Fox placed one arm under her legs and the other around her back and quickly ran her inside the compound. Goose comes out of the clinic, rubbing his eyes, and looks up to Fox confused.
"What is going on dude?" Goose asks sleepily as he looks between Rabbits pained face and Fox.
"I just need to get Rabbit inside. I'll explain later when I get more information myself." Fox slowly apologizes to Goose before turning towards the door to his room.
Goose tilts his head in confusion and then looks back towards the door to the clinic and shrugs his shoulders.
"I guess he didnt realize where I just came from" Goose smiles shyly and walks back inside.
In Fox's room, he gently lays Rabbit down on his bed and sits next to her. He gently places his hand on her forehead to check for a fever and her body starts to shake from the slight touch of his fingers upon her skin.
"Yuu, please talk to me." Fox's voice was broken, the sound of pure sadness. He watched her face.
She kept her eyes closed as if she was passed out but was not asleep. Fox brushed some hair away off her face and sighed as he took a moment to think. He curled up on the bed next to her body and lightly pulled her into his arms.
"It's ok, just tell me when you are ready. I am here to listen to you." Fox whispers into her ear and nestles his face into her neck.
