3rd person POV:
*Time skip 5 months. (We are now in July in case your confused)*
"Finally! Summer break! No more school or homework for the next 4 weeks!" yelled Alvin.
"As much as I love learning, I'm really happy I get to have a break." said Simon.
"OMG guys! I just had an amazing idea. We should totally go to the beach together!" beamed Brittany.
"Yeah! We can build sandcastles, go swimming, check out the gift shops and eat lots of ice-cream. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!" smiled Theodore.
"I just checked the weather, and it's meant to get really warm this weekend. The perfect time to go to the beach." said Jeanette holding up her phone.
"Great! So this weekend we're going all going to the beach! Wooo!" squealed Eleanor, giving an air punch.
"Wooooo!" everyone cheered."Skateboards?"
"Check!"
"Goggles?
"Check!"
"Surfboards?"
"Check!"
"Water cooler?
"Check!"
"Sunglasses?"
"Check!"
"Sunscreen?"
"Check!"
"Blankets?"
"Check!"
"Bucket and spades?"
"Check!"
"Pho-"
"Ugh, my god! For last time Si, we've been through the checklist twice now. We have everything!" moaned Alvin.
"It's better to be safe than sorry Alvin." smiled Simon. Alvin just rolled his eyes.
"Okay boys, I'm going to start the car now. So why don't you go fetch the chipettes." said Dave.
"Yes Dave!"
The chipmunks finished packing up all their stuff and went across to the chippettes' treehouse, who were stood there waiting.
"So guys all ready to go?"
"Yes!"
"OMG I can't wait to relax and enjoy the warm sun." sighed Brittany.
"Oh my god. We're witnessing history in the making ladies and gentleman. For once Brittany Miller is on time and nobody has to wait. Hallelujah!" smirked Alvin, crossing his arms.
"Oh yeah! Well at least my clothes aren't on backwards!" laughed Brittany hysterically.
"Huh?! What are you talking about?!"
"Your swimming trunks are on backwards Alvin." snickered Brittany.
"Well...um... this is a...fashion choice!"
"Yeah, really fashionable." said Britt sarcastically.
Alvin heard Simon laughing quietly behind him.
"You knew and didn't tell me!" yelled Alvin.
"I'm sorry okay. It was just so funny!" howled Simon.
"Humph! Let me go change. I'll be right back."Once Alvin changed his trunks back to the correct way, the chipmunks and chipettes all got into Dave's car.
"Everyone here? Everyone got their seatbelts on?" asked Dave.
"Yes Dave!"
"Uh-huh!"
"Absolutely!"
"Alright then. Off we gooooo!"
They were driving for around an hour just talking amongst themselves until they saw it. The beach looked so beautiful with the sun's rays reflecting off the clear blue sea.
"Oh my! It's so beautiful." squealed Brittany.
"It looks like something straight out of a book." smiled Jeanette.
"Right guys listen to me very carefully. I'm going to come and get you guys no longer than 10pm, depending on traffic. Make sure all your phones are turned on and stay together. Have a great time and enjoy! Oh and Alvin. Stay out of trouble will you?"
"Oh come on Dave. You think I would get in trouble."
"I'm serious Alvin behave. See you guy later!"
"Bye Dave!"
"See ya!"
"Drive safely!"
The gang all waved goodbye to Dave and their time in the sun began.Simon and Jeanette picked a perfect spot for everyone to put their stuff down so they could set everything up. Placing down blankets, getting drinks out of the cooler, all that stuff. As he was getting ready to go surf boarding, something caught Alvin's eye. It was Brittany. Before they left she was wearing a pink, chick summer dress. But she was starting to get really warm, so she took it off revealing a pink bikini. Alvin couldn't stop staring at her. Brittany noticed and pulled her pink heart-shaped sunglasses down to her nose.
"Can I help you?" she asked Alvin.
"Oh no.... I'm good." said a stammering Alvin.
"Okay then...... So are you going surfboarding or not?"
"Oh yeah right!"
Alvin ran down to the shore and was ready to catch the biggest wave he could.
"Wow! He's actually really good." said Jeanette.
"Yeah he's fine... I guess." shrugged Brittany.
"You know what Jean, I'm in the mood to buy an ice cream and go for a walk on the pier."
"Sure do whatever you want Britt."
"Make sure Alvin doesn't steal any of my drinks. He likes to spit in them. Ewwwww!"
"Don't worry, he won't go anywhere near your beverages."
