He sat waiting at the boarding gate on his phone. Seven scrolled through missed calls from the lab. He just escaped and he didn't wanna go back. His eyes glance up as a shorter boy, maybe only 5 '5 stood behind him, headphones on his head. Seven watched the boy quietly, he was familiar, but not threatening. “May I ask why you’re staring?” The soft voice interrupted the taller man’s thoughts. “Wait, huh- Sorry.” Seven paused as He noticed the boy now stared up at him headphones hung around his neck.
“Did you need something?” The boy spoke again, his silver eyes stared calmly up at Seven. He felt an odd pulse in his chest as the boy stared up at him. “No, sorry you just seem familiar, what’s your name?” Seven asked, Slowly relaxing. The boy yawned. “Azrael, you?” He smiled, noticing Seven relaxing.
“As in the Angel of Death?” Seven asked, his head tilted at Azrael who seemed to snicker. Azrael laughed softly causing Seven to stare confused.“I guess That is one way to reference my name, are you religious or something?” Azrael had put his phone away now seeming more open to talking, it made Seven feel warm and fuzzy. “No I’m not, it's just an odd name, a nice one, but odd. I’m Sevar, call me Seven or Sev.” He smiled at Azrael, putting away his phone as well.
“As if that’s not an odd name?” Azrael smirked back, shoving his hands in his hoodie. Seven stared down at him smiling. Azrael had a point. “Tell me, where are you from?” Azrael smiled, leaning closer. Seven felt his heart race. “You’re cute…” Seven said, the words had slipped out, he covered his mouth.
Seven watched as Azrael leaned away, his eyes dull as he then spoke with a soft voice. “You think so? How often do I have to hear that? That’s all you think?” Sev watched Azrael’s demeanor hardened. Seven stared. “Uh, no Sorry, I just panicked. Yes, you’re cute, but you also seem friendly and..uh…” Azrael watched Seven ramble before snickering.
“It’s okay, I was just trying to figure out your motive. Your Panic is hilarious” Azrael teased before making his way to the boarding zone, handing his passport and ticket to the man checking. Seven followed the action. “If you don’t mind me asking, why were you in London? You’re going to Canada right?” Seven asked, following the boy to the plane as the two were on the same flight.
“Work.” Azrael answered simply. “What do you do for work?” Seven quizzed, getting a pit in his stomach. “Do you really wanna Know?” Azrael responded, setting his bag under his seat. Seven made his way to the seat next to him noticing they were in the same row. “Yes, absolutely, you have my full attention.” This caused Azrael to smile. “Then I guess I have to be honest, I can’t let you leave if I tell you.” Azrael spoke, grabbing a book.
“Tell me, I wanna know.” Seven said, leaning over and putting Azrael’s book down. “You have my full attention, please tell me.” Azrael’s eyes flashed with a hint of annoyance before leaning over towards Seven whispering in his ear. “I kill.” Azrael leaned back, grabbing his book again. Seven sat there shocked. He now knew why a pit had formed in his stomach. “Bullshit, prove it.” Seven hesitated, panicked by what he said. Had he really dared this mysterious boy to kill someone?
“Come here.” Azrael whispered, as the Plane broke into the night sky. As Seven moved towards Azrael he felt tense. The Voices began whispering frantically. Seven didn’t wanna lash out but he had to know what the Boy was capable of. He leaned closer and suddenly felt a kiss. He was being kissed. Right now. He melted, his body relaxed as Azrael kissed him, but something was off. Seven felt a pill slide into his mouth down his throat and Azrael pulled away.
“Shit, what did you do!?” Sev growled panicked. “Relax It’s just a tic tac I’m not that mean. I kissed you to drop the guard, you fell for it. I have to do that in my line of work. Did I prove it to you now?” Azrael sighed, reading his book quietly. Sev stared at him, Heart still racing. “Wow…uhm…okay yeah point proven.” Seven stared at the ground, Face flushed red.“I’m On a plane with a killer…” Seven whispered.
“Shit…”
