We'd Miss You Too

"We did it!" Pidge was jumping with excitement as she walked into the lounge of the castle ship, along with the rest of the Paladins. Some of their other allies were already inside, waiting for them, and they cheered as well.

"I just can't believe it..." Lance let out a sigh of relief. "I was sure Naxzela was going to explode."

Shiro let out a content sigh and smiled, "Thanks to all of your hard work, that didn't happen. Good work everyone."

"Princess!" Coran ran over and wrapped her in a tight hug. "I was so worried..."

"I know Coran..." she returned the embrace. "I was worried about you too..."

"Hey Keith!" Hunk waved him over as he walked into the lounge. "Great job taking out that shield!"

"It wasn't me." he shook his head. "Lotor shot it... I have no idea why he would have done that..."

Shiro put a hand on his shoulder, "We can worry about Lotor later. Right now, some of the Blades are taking him down to the cells. For right now, let's just rest."

"But..." Keith tried to protest.

"Keith Kogane as your commanding officer I order you to rest and take some time for yourself for the rest of the day." Shiro said with a smile. "And that goes for the rest of you too."

Keith sighed but gave him a small smile in return, "If you insist. But you should know, I'm kind of bad at following orders." They all laughed and went their separate ways to mingle with everyone there.

As the festivities continued, Matt eventually walked in, and he didn't look happy. "Matt!" Pidge cheered and ran over to give her brother a hug. "We did it!"

He gave her a small smile, "Yeah, we did..." he didn't seem very focused though. "Do you know where Keith is? I needed to have a...discussion... with him."

"Um..." she glanced around the room. "Last I saw him; he was talking to Coran. Why, is something wrong?"

"Yes..." he grit his teeth and walked over in the direction that she had pointed.

Pidge watched him as he found Keith sitting on the couch, drinking some kind of punch Hunk had made. "You. Me. Outside. Now." Keith looked confused but did as he said. They both walked out the door and into the hallway.

Pidge was stunned. She had never seen her brother so upset before. Not even the time that she had accidently broken one of his toy rocket ships when she was a baby. Something really bad must have happened. Had Keith done something wrong?

"Guys..." she quickly went over to the other Paladins and Coran. "I think there's something wrong with Keith and Matt."

"What do you mean?" asked Hunk with confusion.

"I don't know." She admitted, "It's just... when Matt came in, he looked really upset. He was asking me about Keith, and when he found him, they went out in the hallway to talk to him. He was really mad. I don't know... I just have a bad feeling..."

"Don't worry." Shiro assured her. "I'm sure it's nothing. But if it'll make you feel better, why don't we go check on them?"

She gave him a nod, and the rest of the paladins walked over towards the doors. However, as they got closer, they could hear yelling coming from the other side. Right as the doors slid open, they were met with the image of Matt punching Keith in the jaw.

"Matt!" Pidge screamed.

Lance and Hunk quickly ran over to Matt and held him back before he could throw another punch.

Shiro went over to Keith who was rubbing his now bruised jaw. "Are you alright."

"I'm fine." He just stood there as if nothing had happened.
