Mordred Von Felhein... an enigma to the rest of the German magical society, the only son and chosen heir of the Felhein.

His existence was obscure and filled with mystery that few knew much of him, even the secondary branches of the Felhein spoke little of him.

Though from what Lucia had heard, he's been born with a peculiar affliction nothing too horrible nor crippling to the only male heir.

But even that was enough to cause some rumors some malicious and other merely out of curiosity.

Of course those rumors were quicked to be snuffed by Mordred's own mother, despite being only a noble house.

Some forget that they were one of the few ancient houses that predated most of the current noble houses in Germany.

The Felhein was a major power over the production of advance or state of the art Magi-tech and the military thanks to the specialized division under their command.

They were deeply entrenched and were on their way to be one of the likely candidate to rise as the 5th Great House.

The region they inhabited was firmly in their control and it being tied to the coastline meant they own the majority of the shipyards and coastal trading port companies.

They were quite rich and had power in spades but surprisingly they were of the few neutral noble houses who doesn't interfere much in politics.

Oh, they still had a seat and a moderate degree of influence within the ministry but rarely do they exert much unless it's related to their military affairs or company.

It's the reason why her family was allied to the Felhein, they were one of the few ancient Artificer households with a large degree of knowledge and expertise in Magi-Tech.

Scholars, Philosophers and Warriors are the traits the Felhein carried in their family, like lady Alicia, her two daughters and now their son, they stayed true to their own family's legacy.

So it came no surprise though but a little of shock that Mordred was a prodigy in Magi-Tech, his casual display of his skills on arcane sequences and arcane theoretics.

Two subjects an artificer commonly study though even non-artificer need to study such subjects to be able to understand the inner workings of spells, how to make their own new spells and among other things a magician requires.

Lucia was no prodigy in such subjects but she knew at least a modicum of how it works and how it is used.

She tried sometimes though hers aren't as potent as true Artificers, such field is reserved for those interested to take such path, she on the other hand had already chosen her path.

"And it seems Mordred has chosen his own path... a shame his skills with the blade is astoundingly better than mine." Her lips curved unknowingly to a thinly unnoticeable pout as she thought of her defeat.

"A mirror space... that is quite a strange magicraft." Her eyes focused on Mordred who remained apathetic bereft of emotion behind his seemingly polite smile.

"It's only a prototype, it's not meant for storage." Her eyebrows raised at those words. "Not for storage... then what is the point of dabbling with spacial magic?"

She was bewildered, spacial magic was a difficult kind to sequence given it's complexity and those lacking alignment with such magic would have harder time attempting to imbue it on any magicraft.
